Spottswood Dining Room Reviews
I had breakfast and a dinner here. The pork chop was AMAZING. Super delicious. Chia seeds pudding was also top notch!
I enjoyed the vegan options and appreciated having options beyond tofu. I loved the chia pudding and beyond sausage for breakfast! The food can be inconsistent day-to-day and the dinning experience can be slow but we're on vacation with nowhere to be so we overall had a good experience!
Though it felt somewhat expensive, the convenience of being so close to our lodgings within the park, the portion sizes, and the taste made it more than worth it. Our favorite dinner was the rainbow trout with some delicious blackberry ice cream. My companions thought the service was slow at times, but as we were on vacation, had a great view out the windows, and were busy discussing our daily activities in the park, I didn't mind. I loved that it was in a rustic lodge vs Skyland...read full review

Spottswood Dining Room offers a cozy lodge-like atmosphere with a stunning view of mountain ranges. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, with ample portions and generally good service, although it can be slow at times. Menu highlights include the Turkey dinner and meatloaf, while the mushroom ravioli remains a standout dish. Guests have enjoyed the delicious food, including well-cooked broccoli, perfectly paired sweet potato mash and sauce with pork chops, and crispy chicken. The flatbread appetizer is also highly recommended. The view during dinner, especially at sunset, creates a beautiful backdrop. Prices are a bit high, but the generous portions and scenic location make it a convenient choice. Despite some inconsistent service, Spottswood Dining Room remains a decent option, especially since it is one of the few places to eat in the area. The restaurant is quiet and clean, with limited variety but tasty food. Parking is available nearby.
