“My husband and I ate at Hometown tonight. It was like sitting down to dinner at home but better. Comfortable, welcoming, genuinely friendly. We opted for the buffet and were not disappointed. The salad bar was fresh with any option I could think of. The entree meats and vegetables on the buffet were superbly seasoned And HOT. Every dish was as if it had just come off the stove, crispy for the things that should be crispy and likewise creamy where it should. The fried chicken and fish were fantastic. The fruits were sweet and tasty. And the peanut butter pie was piled high with yumminess. The entire staff had a great sense of humor. We left wishing we lived close by so we could come more often. You really don’t want to miss eating at this jewel of a restaurant.“

Not the busiest or biggest Chinese buffet, but what makes up for it is the personalized service - it's obviously a family-run thing, with little kids tucked away in a booth and one sitting by the register up front. The service was personal and friendly and they were clearly pleased that I was there. I will definitely go the next time I'm through there.“
