Stopped by for dinner tonight for the first time, and we were cheerfully greeted by Gabby. After lots of helpful input from Gabby, we ordered the beet salad to share, then ordered the Peri Peri Chicken and Beef Bourguignon Cottage Pie. Both mains were the absolute bomb, and the beet salad delicious, as well. We will definitely return for dinner soon, and if you go, ask for Gabby - her knowledge of the wines and menu was fantastic - and she made our evening perfect!
Their alcohol selection is unchallenged in Staunton. The only place that sells Narragansett Beer in a can. It's just a little small and weirdly closed on Wednesdays.
The pork belly with fried rice was absolutely amazing, and they give you a good portion. They have a small but well crafted menu, so even picky eaters should find something they like here. Overall 10/10 experience

Sama-Sama International Cuisine is a restaurant in Staunton. Guests are cheerfully greeted, and the helpful input from the team is fantastic, with great knowledge of the wines and menu. The beet salad is delicious, and both mains, the Peri Peri Chicken and Beef Bourguignon Cottage Pie, are the absolute bomb. The pork belly with fried rice is absolutely amazing, and they give you a good portion. The food is absolutely delicious, and the flavor is so good. The menu is small but well crafted, and even picky eaters should find something they like. The menu is very limited, but the portions are nice sized. You can see their kitchen, and the place seemed very clean. The team put on a great 5-course tasting menu that was unbelievably affordably priced, and they paired kambutchas. The alcohol selection is unchallenged in Staunton, and the only place that sells Narragansett Beer in a can. Everything tasted is delicious but also unique, with such an interesting medley of flavor and cuisine. They also do an impeccable job with dessert. The menu is large and inventive, and the space and atmosphere in general are loved. It is just a little small and weirdly closed on Wednesdays. Overall, it is a 10/10 experience and a little gem that is well-worth it.
