Surprised to see such limited options and service at an ABP but it's possible that it's because it's Christmas Eve and also it's an airport ABP! The counter was closed so they weren't doing any custom sandwiches at 10am, just had 2 types of pre-made hot sandwiches--bacon, egg, cheese or sausage, egg, cheese. I opted for the sausage sandwich and it was poorly made. So sad as I was looking forward to breakfast in the airport after a long morning haul to Dulles. Everything was grab and go--including coffee, tea, the fridge. Their pastry case was fine and my daughter loved her chocolate chip muffin. I should have sat down and looked at the map to walk a couple more gates down to Starbucks next time!

The cashier was a bit surly and I was disappointed they weren't serving their "all day" breakfast menu. However the chipotle black bean avocado sandwich as well as the veggie soup were delicious!! Not a bad place to stop in Dulles airport.

I had a highly unpleasant experience today with one of the male employees at this establishment. Despite paying over $9 for a basic hot sandwich, the staff member treated me with extreme rudeness and condescension. I had just come from surgery in DC with busted diapers for my 1-year-old. When I noticed an empty trash bag available, I politely requested to use it, pointing out that I had just placed an order. The employee callously refused, stating that the bags were reserved for other customers. He continued to display his dismissive behavior, loudly munching on cod chips while belittling my request. Additionally, it appeared that the female employees were fearful of him. Frustrated, I approached a janitor named Brian Lopez and kindly asked for assistance. To my relief, he graciously provided me with an empty trash bag to repackage my new diapers for my baby.As a result of this distressing encounter, I have decided that I will go to great lengths to avoid using this airport in the future. The staff here lacks both kindness and helpfulness, and I will instead choose to utilize airlines based in DC, where I have found better experiences.

Just passed thru - Tuesday 28Nov.2023 - 09:20pm.....Noone was cooking. Both were behind registers & did not say a thing as I stood at counter wanting to order the delicious looking egg wrap advertised on my way to gate. I probably did not want them cooking it anyway. Missed flight - no fault of my own, tickets bitterly stolen from bucket.. probably by security not wanting to push our items to get scanned in Charlotte, N.C.....now this! Boo food service workers!

Cashier , please lay your phone down when tending a customer. Also from a previous purchase , I was charge twice . I kept asking the cashier are you sure the transaction didn't double charge separately, she just acted rude in defense and gave a look. This place

Wasn’t clear where the line started or how to order. Approached an employee to ask and a manager shoo’d us away rudely saying that the employees were busy. Different way of doing that. Went to the Starbucks down the way instead.

I've never had a bad Au Bon Pain experience and this location is no exception. In a very crowded Dulles airport, ABP was a welcome site for quality fast-ish food. One star knocked off since logistics of how to get in and out of the space, plus find utensils, was challenging.

Filed a complaint over 2 weeks ago but clearly the store doesn't care because I haven't heard a response. It's unfortunate they hire employees like Nussrat, who curse at you when you ask a question.People like her don't deserve to work customer service and should be fired.Lastly, Virginia is a one party consent state.

Not what they used to be. Little or no hot food. No made to rder items before 10. Premade breakfast sandwiches no longer have eggs. What's the point? This used to be the best choice for breakfast at United gates, and there isn't really another good option except for Chef Geoff's sit down.

When you walk up, no one says anything to you and you wait until someone takes your order, you don’t even know if you’re in the right place to order. They were out of eggs, any sort of coffee, etc. Very rude taking your order and even announcing your order is ready — 12-15 min wait as well. This place could make so much money since it’s the only place for breakfast like it in C gate but I’d rather spend my money literally anywhere else. Place is falling apart

Cute little bakery located in Dulles airport. They sell lots of goodies while you wait for your ride or flight.

There was an old miserable men screaming order to customer a pure lack of respect this men should be put in a mental institution is either the manager or owner. When paying the mentally sick men walk around the counter to look at me punching my pin, I ad to tell him to get away from me.this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money , there’s enough other place to choose from in the airport

Non-existent service. I went to the counter to order. The counter staff told me that their counter was closed. I asked how I could order and buy something,, but she just looked at me like I had 3 heads. I gave up and left.

Please close. Messed up both my sandwiches. Please close, and put something up where you order by kiosk and don’t have to explain your sandwich a dozen times.

Not many choices of pastries and sandwiches but the egg bacon on ciabatta was great. It could get busy in IAD
