“What a pleasant surprise to run into this cute little shop! My wife caught a glimpse of it just as we were passing, and I couldn’t help myself from turning around as soon as I possibly could. I honestly didn’t know these shops existed 😂 We loved checking out all of the souvenirs along with the various flavors we weren’t familiar with. The only thing I wish was that Little Debbie would bring back the most desired Boston Crème Rolls! Maybe one day like they brought back Clearly Canadian! But until then thanks for the memories ❤️“

“10 out of 10 the best pastries!!! Came across this business on FB a few days before a field trip to Staunton, VA for my daughter. Field trip day was Thursday and Giancarlo is only open for retail hours on Friday’s and Saturday’s. I was so bummed, but I sent a message to see if they would let me make a special order for Thursday pick up, and they did!!! We ordered three tarts. A chocolate raspberry, a chocolate espresso and a lemon. AMAZING!!! Giancarlo uses the most delicious chocolate I have ever tasted! And the lemon was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. This bakery is a MUST visit!“

The icing was amazing, the cake tasty and moist, and the mousse filling divine. Everyone at the party complimented me on how good it was. My GF intolerant guests loved the cupcakes. “We ordered 150 mini cupcakes for my MIL's 90th bday party and they were a HIT!!! Everyone raved at the flavor combinations. No one could agree on their favorite: the red velvet, the mint chocolate, the raspberry, the cookies n cream, lemon, and more! What people loved most is that the icing wasn't too sweet so people could try multiple flavors. We picked up friday for a the saturday party and they were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!“
