“After years of thinking about the former Lowerys in Tappahannock, where once some of the best food in Virginia was on tap, I heard about its latest incarnation as Italian-American. Cheryl and I stopped there on our way back from Hampton. We were amazed. 528 is not just good, it is amazing! Creative dishes is an understatement. I would put Tony’s food up against any of the legendary restaurants in our Baltimore’s Little Italy. I think 528 would win hands down. The great tasting fresh sauces, home made pasta, and fresh not frozen seafood. This is a foodies experience not to be missed. Long may you prosper 528. I just wish you were an hour closer to our home!“
