“Hunter's Head Tavern was amazing! I went to celebrate my birthday and loved the English Pub vibes in the restaurant. The staff were extremely courteous and accommodating, the food was HOT, seasoned well, and just overall delicious. Bonus points for using locally sourced ingredients when able. Definitely planning to come back!

My group left another nearby restaurant, as we weren't receiving quality service there and we're being treated unfairly, so to UPGRADE to Hunter's Head Tavern, was a blessing in disguise. Totally saved my birthday luncheon with my ladies! Thank you so much!“

“Oh red fox inn. I really do like this place! I have stayed here many times and a few things they could improve upon, but will focus on one:

- the breakfast! It’s is tasteless. No condiments come with a sandwich that you’d think would be delicious but has no flavor. Fat free yogurt for the parfait. Before covid, they would do breakfast for guests for free in a nice sit down fashion. Can we bring that back? Or, if not, re-do breakfast program with new items. This sandwich has been the mainstay for years. Give salt & pepper too please, ketchup & mayo? We also got the “casserole” (I’m not sure if I’d call it that). It was just okay. Again, some new options and some condiments with delivery if they are going to stick with that.“

“Great inexpensive bar food. Friendly folks. I went on blues open mike night (8 pm,last Thursday of the month) and the music was outstanding. Get there early because there was only one bar stool left when I arrived at 7:15.“

“Headed west today for Apple picking. On the way back to Loudoun County decided to stop in for lunch. Great decision. We ordered the chicken club and a turkey club. These sandwiches were fantastic. Huge portion of Turkey and the chicken breast was perfectly prepared. By the way, the side of fries were awesome as well. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed.“

With over 500 reviews I rarely give a 1 star but this year it goes to the owner of this restaurant. My fair and honest reviews speak for themselves. As a business owner myself in the service industry as well as I use to own 4 food franchises owners should realize their word and communication is the most valuable asset. “Top notch! is not the first time I have been to the Gold Cup but every time leaves wanting to come back over and over again. The food is exquisit, the service is an A+ and of course the atmosphere is great. We asked about the kitchen staff because the sushi was so good. Javier Alvarado within the chef team had a hand in it so I needed to congratulate him. And Samuel was a great server, so attentive, fast and courteous. I hope to see them again at the Gold Cup.“
