Food was way too expensive for how mediocre it was.
Sad to see the move out to the new location from Old Town wasn’t able to revive the restaurant. I used to love going to get BBQ at their Alexandria location but it slowly went down hill. The BBQ is a shadow of what it used to be. The wings are still edible and that was the only saving grace for me. Did not enjoy my dining experience or the food here. And the prices are insult to injury.
Hesitated to try this place because of some of the reviews. Our second time dining here and both times it was pretty good. The pulled pork was moist and the fries, loaded potato salad and slaw were good. Service was quick. The hog sauce is kind of like a Kansas City sauce. There are also mustard and vinegar sauces.Toasting the buns for the sandwiches would be a welcome addition.
