“Hesitated to try this place because of some of the reviews. Our second time dining here and both times it was pretty good. The pulled pork was moist and the fries, loaded potato salad and slaw were good. Service was quick. The hog sauce is kind of like a Kansas City sauce. There are also mustard and vinegar sauces.Toasting the buns for the sandwiches would be a welcome addition. Our two lunches of a sandwich and side each and a tip was only $30.I recommend this place for a quick BBQ meal.“

“The bingsu was excellent. It was made with real fresh fruit, and you could definitely taste the difference. It was more expensive than other places, but the quality and flavor made it worth the price.

I also tried the tteokbokki. It wasn’t bad, but it was pretty average compared to the bingsu.

Overall, I’d definitely come back for the bingsu. If you’re looking for fresh fruit bingsu, this place is worth trying.“

“We ate here for one of our Friday night family dinners. Loved that there were already a few dishes on the table - salad, spicy, pickled radish, japchae, kimchi and regular radish. Then one person delivered water for the table. We all ordered the Puzukan special. I ordered the herb pork belly and pork galbi. My oldest ordered the spicy pork bulgogi and ribs. Hubby ordered a thick pork belly (unsure of the name) and regular beef bulgogi. Youngest ordered brisket and spicy beef bulgogi. I love that they cook for you. The young lady who assisted us was wonderful. My daughters also ordered a fruit drink that was quite tasty. The other waiters delivered the accompanying banchan which were pretty good. The meat was hit or miss. My youngest loved both her choices. My oldest didn't like her ribs because they were sweet but enjoyed the spicy pork. Hubby's thick pork belly was completely flavorless even with the sauces. There was no helping it. But his bulgogi was good. My herb pork was decent but the galbi was freaking amazing. We also ordered the cheesecake mango bingsu which was honestly the highlight of the night. Overall we give this place a 4.“

So good! incredible service (employee handed me tinfoil to cover the additional sauces I got so they don't leak in the bag without asking) and I literally have food for like 4 meals and only purchased 2! “We had a wonderful family dinner at Jeong K-BBQ & Makchang while watching the World Cup. The Korean BBQ was delicious, and enjoying it with somaek (the classic mix of soju and beer) made the meal even better.
The quality of the food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for watching the game with family. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Pete personally goes from table to table - when he's not joining the band/playing guitar! Kelly is wonderful, kind, warm, and consistently books the BEST bands around. Bartender Bo is indeed "super cool" and funny. Servers Mario and Andrea are helpful, attentive, efficient, and keep everyone very well-fed. “Two days ago we had the 1/3/2022 mini blizzard here in nova. I had started my new job just down the street from their location so decided to order curb side pickup from online. Well, when I finally go outside and start driving I see how bad the weather is and get to RHB but it looks closed. I pull in and promptly get stuck at the entryway. I finally make it and get my car out of the unplowed lot and decide i best go back to my new job hungry. I had no food, it was birthday and I was pretty sure after encountering the weather I may be stranded at this job over night. So, I drive back to my office and get stuck right at the entryway of the parking lot! Then the restaurant manager from RHB calls me about my order and I explain what happened and my current situation . He says just drive down the street and he will bring it out to me And I explain im stuck again but ill try! So 15 mins later im stuck in the same spot and a random gentleman in a truck stops and offers to plow me out which was no easy task but he does it anyways and then RASHEED RHB calls me again and i explain my dilemma snd says ill bring it to you send the address. Im like omg thank you! What are you arrives at my office I offered a Tip snd he says no but I explained that I had been stuck in the snow twice and that it’s my birthday and I might be stranded here thank you so much. He wished me a happy birthday and I told him that let me do something so I’m writing this review. Go see Rashid at the red hot and blue and Fairfax one of the nicest guys!“

Banchan(side dish) are great from mashpotatoes to great well fermented kimchi, and that lovely chive salad perfect combination 😋 Also this time we go for intestines plate from their special menu, my favorite. For a small portion its a lot for 2 and along with a big pot of stew that we called on the side 🤭 Big Fan of their sauces too, and oooh that fresh chillies just bring great heat and kick for every bite you take with the meat. 10/10 recommend to come to this place if u craving that midnight kbbq 🤗“

“The beef brisket and the beef steak were easily the highlights of the meal. Both were high-quality, flavorful, and grilled up perfectly, so I would recommend focusing on those two cuts. The pork options were just okay.

The staff were attentive and friendly. They kept a close eye on the grill, changed the plates frequently, and made sure our sides were constantly replenished.
