“I always rely on True Food for its delicious yet healthy food options. We just had lunch there and loved the ambiance - the combination of wood tones and greenery created a relaxing and comfortable feel. The staff member who greeted us was welcoming and friendly, and our server provided attentive and speedy service. Our food arrived within minutes of placing our order.The food was exceptional, especially the edamame dumplings appetizer. They were perfectly seasoned with soy sauce, dashi, white truffle oil, and herbs. The True Blue Grass-Fed Burger was also a great choice. The Peruvian pepper sauce added a pleasant kick to the burger, while the caramelized onions provided a sweet contrast to the blue cheese. The Korean Noodle Bowl was similar to Japchae, made with sweet potato noodles and veggies. However, it had a subtle citrusy flavor with garlic. Our drinks, Kale Aid with Greek yogurt and Bright Eyes, were both healthy and delicious. Their vibrant colors made them a feast for the eyes.I'm looking forward to revisiting True Food soon to try some of their other tasty and healthy options.“
“I’m visiting from out of town.It’s a beautiful place. Food was delicious and fresh. I waited for about 10 - 15 min at the bar and finally got acknowledged and then I never got a refill on my drink and had to wave someone down to get my check. (And then waited more) Maybe they were short staffed, don’t know cause the restaurant was only half full. But I will say I loved my food.“
“This playa bowls location has been the most convenient for me since I work around here. Parking is easy, occasionally I would get busy, but never so busy that you can’t find a place to sit and enjoy your carefully crafted smoothie bowls. Love it so much!“
“I have had my initial experience with Playa Bowls during our break, ordering it for the first time. Despite only being a week into this, I have already ordered four times! The ingredients of Playa Bowls are fresh and delicious. This has been such a pleasant treat as you can easily store it in the freezer, and everything still tastes excellent a day later. I even managed to get my husband hooked on it!“
“I appreciate the pride and effort made by the owner to prepare food that is organic, fresh, without the use of salt or seed oils. You can tell they are proud of what they are providing and the customer service is excellent as they cater to your needs and are patient with explanations of the menu w/ recommendations. The lasagna was a big hit, the jackfruit bbq sandwich was tasty served with asain potatoes and a salad. All of the portions were a good size. There are only 2 to 3 mnoenu items without tofu. They also serve plenty of healthy muffins and cookies. Pizza can be ordered in advance on select days, which I haven't tried yet. A few people like to add their own hot sauce or pinch of salt but I found my food tasty as is. If this were a local establishment, I would be a regular customer. This is the type of venue I enjoy supporting and seek for healthier eating. The restaurant is cute, neat and clean. They were nice and served us outside at the bench since it was a nice day.“
“Prime location, healthy fresh salads made of fresh & quality ingredients and topped with delicious dressings, reasonable prices & fast service; it usually takes 3-10 minutes for your salad to be ready as there are enough food-workers to prepare your food. Even drinks here are healthier than drinks sold at other eateries.Like & recommend.“
“I really enjoyed the food. Healthy and clean. I’ve been going to this restaurant over a year and I would recommend it to my friends. The staffs are also very friendly.However, recently I noticed the portion of the bowl become smaller and I couldn’t get enough to eat…for $16/meal…I also noticed there’s a new staff around, maybe that’s the reason it’s changed??“
