After reading reviews and viewing photos we decided to just go to Golden Corral. If we DO try this it will ONLY be after recent good reviews.
Buffet City offers a typical Asian-inspired buffet with fried rice, chicken, and other dishes. While the food tastes fine, the selection is limited, and some items, like the sushi, may not be as fresh as desired. The Mongolian grill provides some made-to-order options, but the seasonings are lacking. Overall, the experience can be hit or miss, with one reviewer describing a particularly disappointing visit. A recommended alternative is the Buffet City location in Newport News, which reportedly has a better food selection.
