This restaurant is a gem! The food was exceptional from start to finish. The crab and parmesan risotto cake was an absolute favorite, but honestly, everything we ordered was outstanding.
Everyone we interacted with was charming and genuinely helpful. There’s something special about a place that feels polished and special without being the least bit pretentious.
Another big plus: plenty of parking and an easy location outside the super-touristy areas.

This was the first time our friends visited CG. Happy Hour food was pretty good, as were the drinks but it was very loud and uncomfortable. We couldn't really hear each other. Also it seemed there were not enough wait staff for the number of guests, so we had to wait a while for our orders. Once we got to move to the dining area for our mains, the ambience was quieter and more pleasant. The food was very good. Overall we had a great time (except for the loudness initially).

Always warm & friendly; great & attentive service. Food is best in Tidewater & Alvin, the owner, attends to the minor details making the dining experience magical as he has done for decades! Not 5 star, try 10! Thanks for always delivering a wonderful evening!
