If I could eat your food, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I'd be the happiest person in the world. It was a shame when I went to try your food again in Newport News and found out you were not there anymore. But this weekend, my family and I went to VA Beach and ordered some food and was very happy. Your food is AMAZING, thank you!
Food was just okay, I think they might’ve ran out of salt for the day because of all three dishes that I ordered and two appetizers everything was lacking in salt. I ordered a churrasco mofongo and it was lackluster, the mofongo tasted and had the texture of old mangu (mashed plantain), not one crispy bit or a hint of garlic or salt to be tasted; the churrasco was nothing to write home about, lacked flavor and was chewy. It was not at all what I expected. As a Puertorican, I expected the food to be better, the service wasn't that great. They got the orders wrong and when asked what was in the coconut martini, the answer was Martini. Maybe it was bad day for them. They seemed surprised that people were coming in to eat a dinner time.
