The service and food were exceptional! We had some of the best shrimp and cheesy grits that we've ever had! It was the special for brunch that day and very reasonably priced. It is not on the menu but we were told they could still make it if we came back. So if you're a shrimp and grits fan, ask for it and you will not be disappointed!
While the place is cozy, the staff is very nice and accommodating, but the pictures on the website make it seem more upclass, and the portions are small. I ordered a mid-rare blackened tuna steak which was perfectly blackened, it was so thin there was no way to get anything other than rare, mid-well, or well. The alla vodka was meh; almost tasted like it was from a jar. My son's NY st was cooked perfectly though!! My niece loved her burger, and my hubby's shrimp alfredo...
Passing through Virginia Beach last Friday found Driftwood through a search. Had a really nice breakfast there p around midday?. Chad in your nice little outdoor eating area with my dog actually had a view of the ocean. Just a couple blocks away. The Omelette I ordered was wonderful.
