This spot was pretty good. Came here with a friend and ordered the pancit with some banana treat. My friend also ordered the lumpia that he was bringing to his wife for a pot luck. All the food was pretty good. A bit greasy, but you could tell it was made well.

Pinakbet has no taste at all. It's like eating without seasoning.Very disappointed. He put too much rice and only a little scoop of pinakbet.

Large portions and lots of rice! Best parking. Halo-Halo is above average. Highly recommend their menudo (or was it michado or afritada?); either way, it's good!
Vegetarian options: You don't go to a Filipino restaurant to eat vegan food. You come here to clog your arteries.

As a longtime Norfolk/Virginia Beach resident, now living in the western suburbs of Chicago, I have visited this restaurant with my girlfriend every few years when we visit Virginia Beach. Unfortunately, our latest experience was disappointing. Felynn has lost its former luster and is no longer the impressive restaurant it once was. The staff, mostly young people, seem to lack knowledge about the menu and are unenthusiastic about their work. We closely observed an unpleasant encounter with an employee who expressed a bad attitude towards her customer and was not apologetic after making a mistake with an order. She assumed that he ordered 15 lumpias instead of 50, making him feel bad in front of everyone. Another employee couldn't answer a simple question about the name of a food. To make matters worse, the food was subpar. The lumpias were soggy, and the pancit noodles were dry and stuck. It's better off having homemade Filipino dishes OR going to a Filipino party instead. I hope the management and owners of Felynn will take steps to redeem themselves and improve the quality of their food and service. And if they do, then I can recommend FeLynn to anyone.

This is a local family owned Filipino restaurant. It's counter service with inside dining or takeout. They serve can or bottle drinks. I think they serve other in store specialty drinks; I did not see alcohol but I did see a snow cone machine. The food is fresh and authentic. I did a combo plate; chicken barbecue skewer, pancit, and lumpia. It was reasonably priced for the good portion size. I was fully satisfied with my choices. The lumpia is the best I've had in this area. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our server was so patient and was kind enough to even let us sample anything we wanted. I also bought some ube mini cakes and their hot plantain topped with caramelized sugar. Two more very unique menu items they serve. The dining area is clean and spacious. This was my very first visit but will not be my last.

Been going here since I was kid, used to be great, unfortunately it has gone down hill. I don’t know who they have cooking in there now but the pancit is subpar, the Lechon is still ok. Quality and taste are suffering big time now. Wish I didn’t have to write this as it was a childhood staple of mine but I can’t and won’t recommend them anymore.
