Awesome place
Hands down the best Dive Bar in Virginia Beach! The food is always good and the staff is friendly and attentive.
This place was a great find. “Annie” was the coolest! She made us some fantastic drinks and was really great to talk to. She also slid beers across the entire bar like a pro! Great atmosphere with some cool people. A couple of us were in from out of town, but felt like home. Thanks for a memorable night!

Fran's Ready Room is a no-frills, neighborhood bar where friends can gather to enjoy reasonably priced drinks and have a good time. The bar offers a few random food options on any given day, but the quality is surprisingly good, especially the club & French dip, which are said to protect against hangovers. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with both locals and guests feeling welcome. The crowd enjoys playing darts and shooting pool, and some nights feature karaoke. There is a patio out back for cigars or cigarettes. The staff, including the owner, provide great service, and the history of the bar adds to its charm. It’s a dive bar where you can unwind, have fun, and leave smelling like a bar, but the experience is worth it. This local gem is a perfect spot to hang out with an open mind and enjoy a good time.
