Goat cheese balls and deviled are to die for. The biscuit was a bit dry but that’s my only complaint. Overall great experience and food!

First time at this location, we loved the other in downtown Norfolk. The food was really good as usual.

I meet my cousin here often for the HOTD burger -- a delicious burger served between waffles!!! This week we had Kennedy as our server. She was amazing. She's one of those people who shines like the sun, spreading light everywhere she goes. We just loved her and the service she provided. It made our day!

Service and food was great. It does get super busy in the morning.

When you are traveling you are sometimes nervous when choosing a breakfast place, you can step in to Hair of the Dog, just relax and enjoy.

Friendly staff, happy diners and a chill soundtrack set a comfy atmosphere in which to enjoy a diverse menu of favorites with personality.

Made the breakfast reservation and confirmed it, when I checked in, the hostess let us know reservations were down— she wasn't interested in seeing my OpenTable reservation, and wasn't apologetic or accommodating. Took them 15 minutes to figure out to put two tables together for our party of 6. When our food came out it was cold. I knew Father's Day would be a hectic day, but that's why I made a reservation two weeks ahead—unfortunately it didn't matter.

Went for a Sunday brunch and had a great time! We got the giant mimosa and shared between three people. Was such a fun experience and would definitely recommend. Breakfast was super yummy! Two of my party got the Betty White breakfast and I had the Chesapeake eggs Benedict. Both were good- the only comment is that the eggs could have been runnier and were just a bit overcooked but taste wise so happy!

Great food and service! I had the salted caramel iced coffee and it was so good! Not too sweet which I love! I also had an eggs Benedict with goat cheese and it had so much flavor. I will definitely be back.

Great time tonight with the ladies! Music bingo was alot of fun and the vibe was great! Food took a bit to get out but that's was anticipated with the nights events, the food was hot and delicious when we got it! We are definitely planning to come back again!

Had a great time at their event Music Bingo. It was my first time good crowd good dj was great. Went end of January for Music Bingo. Did not get our food went home hungry had to cancel order since they where closing already. Went back for another dose of the fun Music Bingo. To give them another chance to redeem themselves with service and food. But still NO FOOD after almost 2 hours. If we did not follow up on the food no one will tel us they’re backed up in the kitchen. Now its last call for food orders Hmmm I think they need to concentrate on kitchen staff and making their customer get their food. This is disappointing cannot recommend not unless you eat other than here then go for the Music Bingo. Too bad DJ is a good host but service is really and for a restaurant.

We have been here many times. It is the best breakfast food in town. The service was the best. They were very friendly and attentive. Food is to die for. Make a reservation. I will be back for sure.

Atmosphere was just about perfect. The front of the restaurant has decorations that obscure the view of the restaurant to anyone that walks in and is standing in the front- they should fix that. The quality of the food was more than acceptable. Prices were fair. Would go again.

Your restaurant needs help!! It is Saturday night at 5:45. There are 2 people at the bar, and 1 table in the restaurant. Even though, there are at least 3 people working in the foh, we waited 10 minutes for a bottle of wine that we never got, before we decided to leave, while the staff is straw testing drinks at the bar, and it seemed like we were a burden and not a priority. We’ve never visited for dinner and we will never again! No wonder your establishment is practically empty on a Saturday night. People cannot get service!! Very disappointed, I was excited about the menu we viewed online.

Small dining area. We were seated in front of the door, which doesn’t have a breezeway. I asked the hostess if we could move to another table that had opened up. She said no, because it was in a different section. I let her know we were uncomfortable getting blasted with cold air whenever the door opened. She didn’t care. When more tables opened up, I asked the hostess again if we could move. She said no, because we had already had water—not sure what that had to do with anything. When our server came back, I asked her if we could move, and she said no, because someone else was bringing our food behind her. I really have no idea why my request was so unreasonable. We had spent 2 hours outside this morning in freezing rain. I guess it was too much to ask for a warm place to sit down and have breakfast. Sincerely regret not having chosen literally anywhere else.
