Today was my first visit to this restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious and enjoyed very much. Our server was Jessica and she was delightful.
You won't regret it. Amazing
George & Sam's Deli and Diner is located in the Loehmann's Plaza Shopping Center in Virginia Beach. They are in the location where the Route 58 Deli used to be located. My visit here was on May 24, 2026.
With the business being inside of a larger shopping center, parking was not an issue. It isn't hard to see the business from the shopping center with the banner above the entrance. You can tell that they are still working to get everything together on the outside view...read full review

George & Sam's Deli and Diner offers great food and service in a clean, relaxing atmosphere. The portions are plentiful and filling, with highlights including the best corned beef, latkas, bagel breakfast sandwiches, and a big southwest chicken wrap. The pastrami on rye, lox plate, and red skin potato salad are also delicious. The staff is friendly and inviting, providing quick service. It is a great find and well worth a drive, promising an extremely satisfying experience where you will not leave hungry.
