We ended up going to Havana unexpectedly tonight. We haven’t been there for a few years, for no good reason. I had Flank Steak Mojo and it was great. The other three meals were equally delicious (I didn’t eat the other three. My wife had one and our friends had the other two.😁). Amy had Cuban sandwich, great, Troy had pan seared salmon, great and Patti had petite tapas filet, great. The sauce on petite filet was slightly sweet, but not objectionable at all. Havana’s is a great spot whether you’re going for happy hour, drinks and appetizers, or a full dinner. It’s been around forever and is definitely a classic on Great Neck Road.
The food is always solid, the drinks are good, and the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. My favorite thing to get is the chicken quesadilla it’s so good and I order it every time.
