Always a great experience at Heirloom. We like to go before 5 pm to take advantage of the Happy Hour specials. Food is consistently good and fresh. The visit I had the fried chicken with pimento mac and cheese and sauteed yellow and zucchini squash. The fried chicken and squash were out of this world delicious. The mac n cheese was average - it lacked the gooey cheesiness that I like in my mac n cheese. Great wine and cocktail selection, and delightful desserts.
We've celebrated many special occasions at Heirloom, and our recent Friday visit for my wife's birthday was no exception. The food and service continue to impress—every dish was beautifully prepared, and the staff's attentiveness stood out. I especially appreciate that any server will step in to assist if a guest looks like they need help, regardless of whose table it is. That kind of teamwork makes a difference. One caveat: the 3% surcharge for credit card payments...
Had 6:00 PM reservation to celebrate our Anniversary. Seated right on time so no complaints there even though restaurant was very busy. (Probably a lot of people taking advantage of 4:00 to 5:30 Early Bird menu). Wife's mixed drink took a long time to get and server had to be reminded to check on it. Wife ordered the crab cake and was very pleased with her choice...said it contained a lot of crab and not a lot of filler. I ordered the steak medium-rare which unfortunately...
