Hong Kong House Reviews
I visited Hong Kong House for the first time and unfortunately was not impressed. I ordered a shrimp egg roll, but it had no shrimp inside. My chicken was undercooked and could have used more time, and the smoked sausage with rice and gravy had an unusual aftertaste that made it hard to enjoy. Overall, the quality and consistency of the food were disappointing. I was really hoping for a better experience.
I have gone here many times but not recently. I ordered lunch orange chicken. The chicken was tough & hardly any sauce. The egg drop wonton soup was good. Had to point out to woman taking my order that soup came with it. Also, just 1 little bit of broccoli & no other vegetables
Really dark combos and the rice. The sauce was dark it didn't taste good. Sad tossing $40 bucks worth of food in the trash.

Hong Kong House offers a mixed dining experience. The orange chicken has been described as tough with hardly any sauce, while the beef and broccoli tasted bland with a mushy texture. However, the General Tso's chicken is considered the best by some, and the crab Rangoon is second to none. The egg drop wonton soup was good. The fried rice is often disappointing, described as just rice and soy sauce with possibly a sliver of egg; white rice is recommended instead. Delivery can be quick, but in-person orders have taken an hour. Some customers do not plan to order again, while others drive 30 minutes out of their way for the food.
