We've been to this bistro about five times now in the past year. Each time the food and service has been excellent. We love the laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. My favorite thing about this bistro is the tapas style setup and the food always seems to come out so quickly. The churrasco skirt steak is amazing, seasonal bread pudding is a must, and the drinks on point. Their menu has great options for vegetarians, pescatarians, and meat lovers. You can't go wrong...
If I lived in Virginia Beach, this would be my pub hangout; great drinks and food, with cheerful atmosphere. Quick service, mix of shareable and single dishes. Burger was fantastic, as were the crab cakes. Veggie potstickers and cauliflower bites were solid. Note that the fries had a seasoning (old bay?) which I liked but might not be to everyone's taste. Amazing food!!! The atmosphere was great, it was jazz night and I love it but its been a long time since I was impressed by a tri tip steak they are usually either eh or good but this was amazing!!! And I go out to eat a lot. I love a good restaurant because my husband and I can both cook so spending $100+ for food we could do ourselves better for half the price is always a little disappointing but I would have spent double what we spent here for what we got.
