“There are in my opinion only two pizza places in all of Fauquier and this just so happens to be one of them! The “other” I worked at as a kid so I may be a little bias - 😂 But Spitony’s has always held a special place in my heart and seeing the kids getting active with the place makes it that much more important to visit!! Generations matter - This place will be the legacy of pizza in Fauquier if they keep it up!“

“Love the hot honey wings but definitely would have been better if I hadn't drove all the way back home to realize that my extra hot honey sauce wasn't in my bag :( too far to drive back but definitely will be making sure it's in there next time or just wait until we can eat at the restaurant again so I can fully enjoy my wings.“

“I've only ever had a couple problems in nearly 10 years of ordering from this branch, and the customer service has always been pleasant and efficient. All problems were short lived and easily solved. I'm quite happy with this branch.“

“My family and I have tried lunch here a few times now and over the past year there has been no improvement unfortunately. Burnt food, small portions, low quality ingredients and dismally slow service. Our entries came out before the appetizers, didn't get refills on drinks. The hot dogs and buns and nacho chips were burnt, there were more chips not covered in any cheese etc than there were covered. we sent a whole plate of naked chips back. Also, lettuce for the brisket wraps was wilted beyond use. Rice and asparagus had no seasoning, there no salt/pepper on the table. Rice undercooked. Pizza made my family sick and was drowning in sauce. Service for ANYTHING took forever the waitress was unapologetic and acted like it was an inconvenience we were even there. We just wanted to leave and even the check/ring up process was confusing and long winded. took forever just to get out the door. 3rd strike not going back, looking forward to what business replaces it.“

“I walked in there and I didn't know what I was ordering at all. I spoke to a nice kind young man named Harold and he got me right. He was very kind and professional and he made me feel very welcomed. Harold hands down was the best worker there“

“My family and I have visited this Manhattan Pizza location a few times now, making the ~25-minute drive from Culpeper. One of the main reasons is that, in our opinion, Culpeper is desperate for more strong local pizza options that consistently deliver on food, service, and overall experience. We’re big fans of Tony’s NY Pizza in Northern Virginia, and while we wish we had something comparable closer to home, Manhattan Pizza has been the closest option for us and it’s delivered on that expectation during our visits.
From what we’ve seen, service can vary a bit depending on the day, which some other reviews have mentioned as well. At times, the staff at the counter have come across as less engaged, but on our recent visits, the staff member who brought our pizza out to the table was very kind and helpful, checking in and letting us know they were available if we needed anything. Most of our experience here has been focused on dining in rather than extended interaction at the counter.
The pizza itself is really where this place stands out. In our experience, it’s well-balanced. It's not overly greasy, it has a good amount of cheese and sauce, and it's always full of flavor. One extra-large pizza has been more than enough to feed our family of four, and the pricing has felt reasonable for the quality and portion size. That’s ultimately what keeps us coming back and making the drive on a Friday night.
The location itself is nice and generally well-kept for a pizza spot. One thing that stands out is the decorative brick wall featuring the “Lunch atop a Skyscraper” photo, which gives the place a bit of a rustic, classic feel.
Overall, it’s just really good pizza. The place was packed on the evenings we visited, which says a lot about how the local community feels about it. When we don’t feel like making the longer trip into Northern Virginia, this has become our go-to option that’s closer to Culpeper for a solid pizza night.
Thanks!“
