As a priority pass member, this lounge would be miles better, if they didn’t allow Priority Pass members in. Virgin is a great airline, however this lounge had limited free food options, only 2-3. No dessert option, and an older interior, lacking some amenities.
As well as this, the lounge overall lacked many attributes of a business class lounge, they wanted you to pay for food other than the pasta and sandwiches at the buffet. And it was overall crowded...

One word: underwhelming. Staff was friendly overall and place was kept pretty clean. The food options weren't great, but still better than overpriced retail food. The salad option was appreciated. The seating area was small and the upstairs was blocked off. Would recommend other lounge options first.

Having said that, this is as minimalistic as a lounge can be (as opposed to the Turkish lounge which I'd liked a lot during my last visit to IAD). The seating space is small and the menu is limited (sandwich, salad, pasta salad, fruits, cookies and salty snacks). They also have tiny plates so you need to make multiple trips to serve yourself.
