Maybe it was because of the exhausting heat. Maybe it was the crowds, or maybe the loud DJ, but I just didn't feel the vibe. The staff were very pleasant, the beer was good (not quite cold enough for my taste), but I'll be back in the fall when the tourists leave and we can enjoy the beer and atmosphere more.
Stopped in while on recent trip to Williamsburg and so glad I did. Got a flight and ended up enjoy all 6 selections. Favorite beer had to be the Shortcake, not too sweet just right amount of sweet. If you're in area make a point of stopping in.
They brew some really good beers here. Their everyday stuff is meh, but their specialty high octane, bourbon barrel, or barley wines are fantastic. The beertenders are personable and I always end up having a good conversation with someone when I am there.
