The chicken teriyaki is absolutely terrible!!!! The chicken isn’t cooked enough and the “fried rice” has no flavor at all. It’s just rice rice with a little soy sauce. 10/10 would not recommend, especially for a $14 lunch special……..oh yea it took 20minutes to get some warm food. Wasn’t even hot nor was there a fork in the bag??‍♂️

Manager response to their mistake was deplorable.I called in an order for pickup and the order was incorrect with one item missing and $23 of vegetable dumplings and asparagus added to the order. I called back immediately and the young lady who had taken the order acknowledged the and apologized. She retook my credit card info to refund the difference.A short while later the manager called me back saying that I must drive back to Williamsburg (24 miles each way) to return the vegetables before he would issue my refund. A photo would not suffice. I explained the inconvenience to no avail. Although the order taker had acknowledged and apologized for their error, the manager disavowed it demanded that I return the food to Williamsburg to get my refund.

Door dash and Uber eats seems to take priority over those sitting down and eating. Food was okay, nothing special. Large variety.

I do not recommend trying to order from Ichiban. I have been to many restaurants and ordered many times with multiple different types of service. I have had two instances at Ichiban where I received some of the worst service. The first time was a few months back. My family went in to dine in and we saw about 8 open tables. They told us it would take an hour to seat us and the place wasn’t busy. We explained that we just drive 8 hours to visit Williamsburg and would like to eat soon and we were told to go somewhere else.Today, I placed an order through seamless to pick up. This should have been simple but it turned into a really rude experience. When I got there at the time seamless showed my order as ready for pick up they said they never received it. I asked them to check and they said no.Next my wife called to ask what’s going on with the order. She was told they just got it. I thought ok great. Then she was speaking with a manager who told her they are too busy to make the food. I am shocked since once again the dining area didn’t have many people and they were not that busy when I came in. My wife told me that the manager chewed her out when she was asking why they can’t make the food (this was around 6:30 so plenty of time). She asked for a refund and they refused it.Terrible service once is forgiveable. Terrible a second time with being disrespectful to my wife and refusing to fulfill an order or refund it is terrible. It takes a lot to get me to the point of leaving a negative review and this customer service warrants it. I do not recommend even ordering online from Ichiban since they did not honor my order nor refund it!

I called back immediately and the young lady who had taken the order acknowledged the error and retook my credit card info to refund the difference. A short while later the manager called me back saying that I must drive back to Williamsburg, from Kiln Creek (24 miles each direction) to return the vegetables before he would issue my refund. A photo would not suffice. I explained the inconvenience to no avail. We stopped by after the gym for lunch. We loved it. I ordered the lunch special and I was able to try five items, gyoza, sautéed string beans, general Toa's and the pepper steak. I loved every bit. My husband loved the sushi. He said it's the freshest he's had in town! Our waitress was attentive and our food arrived in a very timely manner. The decor is beautiful. It's very fancy inside the restaurant!

The service was very good, welcomed and seated immediately. Ordered coconut shrimp as an appetizer, it was delicious. I had the General Tso chicken and my wife had chicken cachew. Both were plentiful and very good. I ordered the custard buns for dessert, not a favorite. If I lived in the area I would definitely go there again. The sushi bar looked very inviting.

Terrible portion and quality. Foolish to order here. No wonder the building is so nice, because they serve a small amount of meat with onions for $15+ and noodles, onion, and pepper for $15+. Highly not recommended

We had a great server who was very kind and attentive. However the owner had refused to make an adjustment to a dish that my wife had ordered other times before here.My wife settled to have it made the way they wanted to make it. However it still contained onions that she had asked to be left out.

Lovely room, great, low-key service, and extraordinary menu. I had simply the best tofu of my life here, fried gently crisp on the outside but light and custard-y inside, gently sauced with General Tso that was not too sweet, plenty spicy, and just the right consistency. Their huge pan-Asian menu means plenty more trips to explore!
