I've been a loyal customer of La Tienda online for a couple of decades. It was a pleasant surprise to run into the physical restaurant/store by accident while visiting Williamsburg, VA.
What a special place to eat. To sit outside feels like you at a table in Spain. The food is wonderful and the tapas style serving is perfect to join with friends for a great evening of food, conversation and sangria.
I've been eating here for years and I've yet to be disappointed. One of their seasonal offerings, green gazpacho, is incredibly unctuous and dreamy - flavorful and light. The fried eggplant with honey and thyme is my favorite regular dish, but really, everything on the menu is amazing. Service is always friendly and attentive, and each of the dining rooms is quaint and relaxing. For dessert you can't go wrong with the almond cake - not too heavy or sweet. Definitely...
