The environment is open and clean. It is easy to talk to your table because there is no loud overhead music. Our server was very kind and efficient. The hostess was quick to seat us and friendly, and we were helped as we were leaving by a nice gentleman as well. The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Over all it was the best out to eat experience we have had in a long time!
Food was good for the most part. Coleslaw was bland, no flavor beside cabbage. Potato salad and beans were good. Ribs were good, 1/4 chicken was dry, sausages were great, I can honestly say I've never had brisket cut this thin and then grilled. It tasted good but lacked what I think of when I think brisket, juicy and flavorful thick slices.
This is a very nice restaurant. The pulled pork was delicious, and we really liked the fries (actually sliced potatoes). The place was pretty busy, so service was a bit slow, and the dining room is rather noisy. It was a relief to walk outside afterward! We'll probably go back.
