When in NYC I stay in Chinatown, Manhattan. Some restaurants there are very decorated, and some not, The not decorated cater to the locals, and me. So, when I entered China Garden I was not put off by the atmosphere. I only get take out. The food is authentic, and the closest to what I have in NYC, in winchester. Portion sizes are good for 2 or 3. I wish they had roasted (bbq) duck. Oh well. You will not be disappointed, best around.
Very fast and delicious take out. Large servings. Great prices.
When we first purchased food here a few years ago, we weren’t sure about the food. We have tried a number of other Chinese restaurants and this has become of our few go to for Chinese/asian food.
My only criticism is their fried rice. It’s not “fried” very crispy. I wish they would improve the recipe.
We travel approximately 15-20 minutes to pick up the food

China Garden restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a variety of Chinese dishes. The wonton soup and egg rolls are standouts, with flavorful wontons and crispy egg rolls. While some dishes, such as the pork fried rice and chicken lo mein, may not meet expectations, the restaurant has room for improvement. Fresh vegetables and seasonings are evident in the food, and the garlic beef dish, despite being unexpectedly loaded with vegetables, is a highlight. The beef dumpling with brown sauce is also a treat. With a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, China Garden has the potential to become a five-star establishment.
