When in NYC I stay in Chinatown, Manhattan. Some restaurants there are very decorated, and some not, The not decorated cater to the locals, and me. So, when I entered China Garden I was not put off by the atmosphere. I only get take out. The food is authentic, and the closest to what I have in NYC, in winchester. Portion sizes are good for 2 or 3. I wish they had roasted (bbq) duck. Oh well. You will not be disappointed, best around.
When we first purchased food here a few years ago, we weren’t sure about the food. We have tried a number of other Chinese restaurants and this has become of our few go to for Chinese/asian food.
My only criticism is their fried rice. It’s not “fried” very crispy. I wish they would improve the recipe.

I had ordered takeout, but the restaurant was clean and open chill environment.
The food was absolutely wonderful. It was fresh and the serving size was pretty generous. Will definitely go back. Staff was very courteous.
