“Pumpkin Delights: Spoiler alert, these are my favorite seasonal snack from Little Debbie. They’re soft, chewy, sweet, and full of delicious pumpkin flavor (along with hints of cinnamon/spice). Basically, they are a pumpkin flavored cookie. Thankfully the “spice” flavor is muted and not in your face or burning (I prefer less spice and more of a pumpkin pie flavor to my pumpkin treats). The orange gel used for the eyes and mouth had just a hint of pumpkin flavor, but it’s more for decoration/aesthetics. Some of the cookies were done very well with the eyes and mouth looking just like on the box, but a few looked pretty bad (too scary to show). They pair great with a cup of pumpkin spice coffee or be like the Doughboy and take these cookies up a notch by adding cream cheese frosting to them. Not a frosting person? They also pair nicely with a scoop of pumpkin ice cream to create your own seasonal Pizookie.

“Stoney Creek at Wintergreen is one of the best publicity accessible golf courses in the Piedmont region of Central Virginia. The course features spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and is in excellent shape from tee to green. I played all 27 holes and the staff were friendly and pleasant and made sure my round was going smoothly. This is a must play course in the area and isn’t too difficult.”
