Great spot with a fun history. The food was delicious, standard tavern food but really good. The burger was huge but I ate it all. I wish I saved room for dessert. Cold beer. Super friendly staff and quick service. There’s just something special about eating in a place where you can see the huge old logs that make up the structure and feel the history of the place.

When dining in at Springhouse the food is always good. The issue comes with doing take out. It is a shot in the dark to get take out from Springhouse. Tonight I ordered Mozzarella sticks, a tavern ribeye with Mac and cheese and after spending 10 minutes on the phone, with someone who it seemed had never taken an order before, they still got it wrong.
