“My wife and I stopped by while staying in a little tinyhouse air bnb nearby, and the food here is amazing. I was so excited to see tamales as they are weirdly hard to come by where I am from. The atmosphere is like being at your friends aunts neighborhood taqueria - casual, friendly, and homey. Next time we come through this state we will be sure to grab food here again!“

“If you like more than just good pasta dishes, Sal’s has amazing steak and seafood!!! I have only lived here a few months and have tried other restaurants in the area but I keep going back to Sal’s. The food has been consistently great and everyone I have brought there agrees. Even my friend who is gluten free!! She ordered the gluten free pesto pasta and thought it was amazing! I watched one customer come back into the restaurant to tell Sal that his Branzino special was the best he has ever had! I go there often by myself and eat at the bar - everyone who works there makes me feel at home. They have a nice selection of beer and wine and a menu with plenty of variety. I tend to want to change things up and they have always been very accommodating in customizing a delicious dish for me. My only issue is that the bread and garlic dipping oil you are given with your meal is too good and I have a hard time saying no to it“

“My husband and I wanted a nice dinner out and we found this gem of a place! I ordered the Shrimp Taco’s, and they were so very delicious, juicy and cooked perfectly - the hot sauce was spicy but not over whelming and the slaw and grilled pineapple was a nice accompaniment to the taco’s and topped it off with cilantro-lime crema. My husband ordered the grilled shrimp dinner and once again, the shrimp were perfectly cooked, the grilled corn salad was also very refreshing, and I can honestly say this is the 1st time that we have gone out and not had to add salt! Everything we ate was seasoned perfectly! We finished off our dinner with an out of this world banana chocolate cake with a coffee buttercream icing.We will most definitely be coming back for more!
