This restaurant situated inside a lovely, restored hotel is very elegant. It was thoughtfully decorated and has a nice atmosphere. We didn't have a reservation but was seated within 30 mins. (That was fine with me.) The menu was a bit limited but that is appropriate considering it was all homemade dishes with fresh ingredients. Jade, our server, was very kind and friendly. My husband ordered the fried chicken and that was good. My son ordered the steak that was good as well. I ordered the shrimp and grits and that was seasoned a bit too much. Jade brought out our food in a timely manner but then didn't come back to check on us for a very long time. I ran out of water because the shrimp was too spicy. She came back about 20-30 mins later. She did comp my dinner with a free dessert. I was hoping the manager would pop over while we were eating our entrees but he did not.Overall, a good experience and I would recommend it, just not the shrimp n grits.

Very average tasting food for such costly price. $12 for a very small watered down mixed drink. Asked the manager about the drink and they said they don’t discount alcohol. That’s not what I asked. The only positive was the waitress. Definitely will not be returning. Do not recommend.

The service and food here is always excellent.... except for Sundays. This was the first Sunday I visited, and they have a limited menu on Sundays. I was so underwhelmed as opposed to the usual. The food is always the best around, but today, Sunday, they just missed the mark. The steak was flavorless, the alfredo dish was dry, the grilled cheese was hard (the outside of the bun was toasted), the mac and cheese was cold and looked liked boxed mac n cheese, the fries were unsalted and lacked flavor as well.Usually, the food here is so, so, so good. During the week, please visit. It is pricy, but so worth it. Sundays, the price is too high for the quality.

Service was great! Lindsay was awesome. I had a Chicken Caesar salad. The romaine was not fresh and the chicken was a bit tough but had a good flavor. My date had shrimp and grits. His meal looked awesome. It was a bit loud and it was difficult to hear each other talking. But I did enjoy it and would probably go back to try something different. The menu is very limited so check it out before going.

Here for business trip staying at the Boilling Wilson Hotel. I decided to just try dinner at the hotel… best decision.. everyone was very hospitable and the food was delicious well prepared and flavorful. I will be back and no question of where I’ll be eating dinner. Quentin and the staff were the best.

Food was good - service was light on being helpful and the menu wasn't clear on what you were getting.

We stopped in Wytheville on our way home from a Christmas visit with family. We looked up local restaurants and Graze was highly rated. A very nice lobby restaurant in and restored older hotel. We shared a pasta dish, shrimp Alfredo and a house salad. Perfect for two lighter eaters. The wine list was short but with good choices and reasonable prices. Overall a very nice dining experience.

Stopped at Graze on Main on the way back home from seeing a show at the Barter theater in Abingdon, VA. My girlfriend and I both had the red snapper and it was incredible. Quentin, our server made our dining experience very enjoyable. I can’t wait to go

We normally stoop in Wytheville on our way south and spend a night by the interstate. This time we stayed in the Bolling-Wilson Hotel and ate at Graze on the Main.Best loaded Brussel Sprouts ever. My wife said her salad was one of her tops as well. My sprouts turned out to be too much and I was not leaving any so I could not eat my wedge salad.I had it for breakfast the next day and it was so good.I highly recommend this even if you have to drive about 3 miles off the interstate. I wish I had tried the carrot cake. Next time though.
