“I had the pleasure of dining at The Left Bank for my birthday, and without question, it was the best meal I’ve had in decades. Since moving to Vermont, we’ve struggled to find restaurants that meet our standards — most places have been disappointingly mediocre and overpriced, leaving us to cook at home more often than not. As self-proclaimed food snobs, we had nearly given up on dining out entirely.

Then came The Left Bank.

From the moment we sat down, every bite was exceptional — from the warm roll served at the start, to the vibrant beet salad, to what was quite possibly the most delicious chicken I’ve ever tasted. It was perfectly seared, expertly seasoned, juicy, and served with a crisp, golden skin that was nothing short of perfection. I still can’t stop thinking about it.

The cocktails and desserts were equally outstanding — and with the news that they’re opening a bakery across the street soon, we are already counting the days.

This level of quality, care, and execution is what you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. In fact, The Left Bank absolutely deserves that level of recognition.

Our dinner for two, which included four cocktails, two salads, two entrées, and two desserts, came to $300 with tip. Pricey? Perhaps — but in this case, it was worth every penny. You truly get what you pay for, and we’ll happily return again and again.

It's little touches like this that take them above and beyond all other competition. “Fun treat for the family on the piste. Note that beverage prices have gone up from the 23-24 season. Water was $6, coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider (very good BTW), tea, soda, sports drink, and energy drink had all gone up a dollar. We get it, skiing is expensive and you're never going to get a deal at a lodge when it comes to food, but it's getting a little ridiculous.”
