We are particular and our bar is very high if we are going to eat out at all -- but The Left Bank is worth the trip. “We visited Solo Farm and Table as part of a group of six on a busy Thursday night at the end of October. We were served a set menu of seasonal ingredients, many local and some from the restaurant’s garden, in a beautiful, 19th Century in, cooked with skill and presented with care. Some of our party struggled with the lack of choice, but what we were served was fabulous. A tomato amuse bouche and a squid ink dish will live long in the memory. It was the best meal we ate in our trip through Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. What really stood out though was the joy all the staff brought to their work. This is a wonderful establishment and the team is clearly and justifiably proud of what they serve. It was a privilege to share in it.”

The coconut chocolate chip was a perfect blend of tropical and sweet, while the raspberry horn was tantalizingly tangy. Their donuts were light and fluffy, and the lemon scone had just the right amount of zest. We couldn't resist taking some of their delicious cake and chocolate chip cookies for the road. The cozy seating area inside added to the charm, making our visit even more enjoyable. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!”

“Excellent pizza. Busy even at 4pm. The pizza came out quick, hot, and delicious. The staff was efficient and very pleasant. I’m sure a bit later in the afternoon it will be very busy. Any wait though would be worth it. Their wood fired pizza is excellent. The beer was cold and draft.Kid-friendliness: Pretty relaxed atmosphere. Some of the table/chair sets were old chair lifts. The grilled marinated short ribs were so tender and juicy and incredibly flavorful! And the dirty potatoes were so tasty! The staff was so friendly and courteous to our guests! And Wendy was so flexible and easy to work with during our planning! To the best of my understanding the larger you go in size, the more espresso you add but I think they give the same quantity of espresso for small or large so save your money and just get small.This place is a combination with a real estate firm, so getting any quality work done is difficult with others hovering over you to see listings.There’s plenty of spaces and area to place these listing ads away from tables. “Fantastic place! We had Saturday brunch with our kids and the service was impeccable, from the moment we stepped in until we left. Food was amazing as well, and the location on the water is beautiful.”

“It's dimly lit, with stamped metal ceiling tiles and pictures paying homage to the Godfather movie on the wall. Our server, Jess, was terrific - super fast, friendly and attentive even though there was a party of 14 in our section. The specials are written on a white board that is hilariously toted from table to table. Thankfully, we got to order our entrees while they were working on appetizers. Hubby ordered a tasty Upper Pass IPA, I had the glass of Terrazas Los Andes Malbec, which was fruity and full, and not too acidic. A big basket of rolls was brought out. Jess had to warn us that they were really hot. Who doesn't love hot fresh rolls served with a bowl full of butter whipped into clouds??! Salads weren't unique, but they were crisp, cold, and fresh. I ordered the haddock with crabmeat stuffing. The haddock was delicious, but I was hoping for more crabmeat - there was some under the breadcrumb top, just not a lot. Pro tip: keep the whipped butter on the table for your baked potato. Hubby got the Black Angus prime rib because, according to Jess, they don't have it every day - only when the prime rib flag is out front. I think only Fridays and Saturdays. It was tender and cooked very nicely. Hubby wasn't disappointed. The best dish was the daughter's Crispy 1/2 Duck - the skin, indeed was crackling crispy. It was served with cherries in a wine reduction, which my daughter didn't need or want with her meal, but my husband and I helped ourselves - they were yummy. We can't tell you about dessert because we didn't order any - we were stuffed. Everything was delicious and nicely done. Kudos to Jess and team!”

The chef was pushing out food like crazy, so that has something do with it. Four stars for being ski town Chinese. 3 stars elsewhere. Wonton soup was delicious. Crab Rangoon may have been the best bites. Also had Hunan beef and Chicken-Amazing. Those two were lackluster. Sorry for no photos! We were starving.Note- This is 95% to-go business. They have two 4-tops in the restaurant, but that's it. Only service commitment is extra plates and plastic ware if you dine in.Hospitality was good. Prices fair.”
