Lazy Lions Campground Reviews
Was traveling through, needed a site for the night. Was able to get one. Can't say much about the amenities because I didn't use them. Grounds were nice and well kept.
This is a lovely tranquil spot in Vermont in a great location. The owner was extra helpful in many ways and gave us great recommendations for things to do, restaurants etc. I highly recommend this beautiful little campground-you will enjoy it!
We showed up in a huge RV last minute and Darryl was very kind to get us a spot with a big group and dogs. The land is beautiful and there are trails out back for walking or riding bikes. Fire ring provided. Very quiet. If you’re camping in tents it looks like there’s some spots off the trail with tree cover, privacy, soft grass and flat. Lovely people and spot. Thank you!
Lazy Lions Campground is a small, peaceful retreat with limited amenities but beautiful surroundings. The owner, Steve, is welcoming and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. Located conveniently near Norwich campus, Stowe, Montpelier, and Route 100, it offers easy access to explore the area. The campground is very clean, quiet, and peaceful, with manicured lawns, flowers, and lush grass sites. Visitors can enjoy spacious screened lean-to's with picnic tables and fire rings, perfect for a quiet getaway. The bathrooms are clean and tidy, with good water pressure, and a laundry facility with plenty of machines is available. The staff is friendly and helpful, making guests feel at home. Nearby activities include exploring Barre and other parts of Vermont for day excursions. Overall, Lazy Lions Campground provides a serene atmosphere and well-maintained grounds for a relaxing visit.
