“Chef Tim served up an amazing breakfast for our group this week. From breakfast croissants (sausage/bacon, egg, cheese) to cinnamon rolls, french toast and fresh fruit to breakfast burritos…the flavors were amazing and the service fantastic.“
“Barr Hill offers up amazing food and drinks in a laid back setting. My favorite dish was the diced potatoes, which reminded me of the "patatas bravas" served in Spain but amazingly enough, it was even better! I highly recommend giving it a go and sampling one of their delicious cocktails and some of their fare. You won't be disappointed!“
“After working here- I wouldn't recommend. First of all, employees don't recieve the credit card tips after being promised tips. Second of all, nothing is made in house except for the guacamole and pico. Not authentic mexican food of any sort. Canned enchilada sauce. Stuffed Polblano peppers come in a plastic bag. The owners have their own sauce they ask for on enchiladas. It tastes much better than what they serve the public. The owners Lu and David are dirty and steal tips from their employees who are Lu's own "people". Not to mention the place is far from up to health code!“
“Decided to stroll down the block and look for breakfast. Have done it many times and didn't find any. Saw the sign they were recently open. Was great. They even make the bread they serve in house. It's a must try when in Montpelier “
“The corn mix, Mexican rice, and beans were yummy and reminded me or Tex Mex food! Sadly, the tamales were too salty and I could not finish them. The best dish was the empanadas--they were not too doughy and I loved the filling. Heck, I wish the empanada was overfilled!“
“It was rather busy on account of the eclipse, but thankfully we got in early enough to catch a 40 min wait time for a table. Despite the rush, we got our delicious food and beverages in a timely manner. Everything tasted so good. We had the Korean BBQ crepe and a Veggie Monster, as well as an order of poutine. I think my only detractor would be that the portion on the poutine was disappointingly small for $13 (it used to be much bigger). Very tasty, for sure, but if you’re trying to get a big bang for your buck, then spend that money on a different dish. Otherwise, I thought the service was very good considering how slammed they wereVegetarian options: Creative, flavorful, and rather filling“
“This is our second time staying and we had a great experience both times. The owner is really nice and accommodating. As long as you’ve read the rules on the website, there aren’t any surprises. It’sVery quiet, has nice roomy, hot showers. We were there for family weekend at Norwich and it’s an easy drive to campus.“
