“We came here after a snowboarding day and was amazed at the ambience, service, and food here. The restaurant has a warm lighting with a cozy atmosphere. The hostess and our server, Jessica, were very friendly and accommodating. They were very attentive at refilling our water and when asked about the safest path to get back to our hotel due to the snow and ice, they printed us directions with two options for the safest way or the fastest way to return.
The food was also delicious. They started us off with complimentary herb dinner rolls. They were absolutely delicious with the whipped butter. The daily special cocktail and oysters were also great. The burger complemented well with the onion jam inside and the peppered steak was cooked just the way we wanted it. The fries were also perfectly flavored and crispy. Every dish and side were tasty. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and I can’t wait to return next time I’m in Vermont!”

“Had one of the most enjoyable meals ever. Farm fresh, imaginative food and libation. The jubilee was the best cocktail I have had in my entire life. Corn soup with lobster was sweet and succulent. Entrees full of flavor .. The wine pouring complemented each courser perfectly. And the service was perfection… Warm and welcoming. Made to feel like old friends. Can’t wait to go back.”

“A cozy place serving the best hot chocolate and grilled cheese in the area.
We got a Phoebe sandwich for my husband, which was good but the portion size can be definitely improved.
Great place to get a quick bite.”

“The Rustic Rooster is one of those rare Vermont gems you almost don’t want to share because it’s that special. The food is absolutely amazing — consistently fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. But what really sets this place apart are the people. Greg and Donna, the owners, make you feel like family the moment you walk in. Their team is just as wonderful, and I have to give a special shout-out to Tyler (aka Leroy), whose warmth, humor, and service always make the experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic food, authentic people, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, this is it. The Rustic Rooster is easily one of my top spots in Vermont — a true local secret that’s worth discovering.”

“Tried out Big Pops After Dark this weekend…so happy we did! The Cheeseburger and Buffalo Chicken pizzas were amazing. Our daughter got the Italian sandwich and loved it. Good sized portions, great quality control and wonderful flavors. Nice addition to the community!”

“Fun treat for the family on the piste. Note that beverage prices have gone up from the 23-24 season. Water was $6, coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider (very good BTW), tea, soda, sports drink, and energy drink had all gone up a dollar. We get it, skiing is expensive and you're never going to get a deal at a lodge when it comes to food, but it's getting a little ridiculous.”

“I LOVE MOJO!! We come here all the time, you can’t go wrong, the food is always delicious no matter what you order, the vibes are great, and the service is always awesome. I recommend mojo to everyone all the time, definitely my favorite restaurant in the area. If they closed I would die.”

“Was in Ludlow for the day and drove around the side streets to see what I could discover. Came across stemwinder and wow 👌 what and amazing place. It's ashame I found it 2 days before I was leaving to go back to Australia. These are the places that need to be recognised and supported. Will be sure to visit again in my next trip. The venue was closed at the time of our visit but the staff made the effort to accommodate our curiosity. Thanks guys and wish you all the best.”

“The best food in Ludlow. This place is a hidden gem. The owner has plenty of personality; but the food, oh, the food is to die for! Healthy, classy, simple yet exotic. I dare you to eat there once and not become addicted!”

“I don't know what else to say, besides best Waffles, hands down. I'm specifically referring to the one on the Clock Tower side that's between the green trails, just above sunburst six lift. It's $7, so that's ridiculous, but still eat one.”
“These folks catered our wedding. Couldn't ask for anything more! Prompt, efficient and so delicious! Roast pig and kickin' chicken. Yum! Had to work around the bride's tomato allergy too. Very easy going folks. Thank you!”

“Food was just so so.....menu average. Husband ordered teak tips said they were not great however he's not a guy that complains will just eat and not create an issue. My pasta dish was good however pasta isn't a difficult meal. Daughter did not like her chicken wings so only ate 2. Staff were welcoming and friendly, timing of food was good, just overall quality not great. Won't be back. They had TV's for the FB game which was why we selected.”

“This is really top-notch Chinese food. Lo mein, chicken & broccoli, general tso’s, fried dumplings are all really good. Everything I have had seems 100% freshly made and not unnecessarily drenched in oil or salt. Take out is really speedy and it travels well over a 15+ minute ride”

“Food was good, they treated us well, and the drinks were strong enough to keep us happily distracted while the kitchen was fighting for its life.
We first visited on New Year’s Day for dinner, which is apparently the restaurant equivalent of running a marathon while juggling knives. The kitchen was getting absolutely crushed, so they stopped accepting walk-ins. We pivoted to the bar which was the best decision. Full restaurant service, front-row entertainment, and bartenders who were on their A-game despite the chaos.
Shoutout to Nico, Michael, and a third gentleman whose name we sadly missed—all hilarious, attentive, and impressively unfazed. Watching them keep things moving while cracking jokes felt like dinner and a show.
We returned the next night and learned the staff was short-handed because several servers were injured in an ice storm (because of course that happened). Some patrons were not exactly embracing the “mountain town patience” vibe and made their frustrations very loudly known. Meanwhile, the staff handled every rude demand and complaint with professionalism and kindness that honestly deserved a standing ovation. Yes, food took a while—but the service more than made up for it.
As for the food and drinks:
The local beer selection was small but reasonable.
The Alpine Blossom cocktail was pleasant and neutral—easy sipping.
The Boulevardier was done right, which we always appreciate.
The salad was exactly what a salad should be: fine, polite, and unmemorable.
The hamburger and truffle fries? Delicious and absolutely worth it.
The next night, the broccoli cheddar soup was perfect—warm, comforting, no notes.
The prime rib special over mashed potatoes and asparagus was cooked perfectly.
By night two, the vibes were much calmer—fewer people, no angry customers, and the same excellent service. All in all, Coleman Brook Tavern delivered good food, great drinks, and exceptional staff under tough circumstances. We’ll gladly return”
“The Bull is an amazing place to grab something and go back out to the slopes, or stay and wait for the winter sports people in your group. Food was delicious, drinks were good, service was friendly and attentive. Love this place.”

“Employees extremely nice. I used to work at another dunkin and because of that I was given a free 3 munchkins. Extremely respectful and I would've done the same had the roles reversed. A great place to stop by with the family! This dunkin is underrated and is far better than the one in Springfield. Would recommend.”

“We went for dinner during the Queen's Feast special, and everything was marvelous. We were really impressed with the food. Beyond that, our last two visits, we had the same waitress, who was just outstanding and made the whole experience so much better. A big thanks to Kirsten - we hope management knows what an asset you are to the restaurant!”
