Wow. I loved this breakfast.we stopped here after camping at the Battenkill. Vermont just has good vibes everywhere. And a cool nearby monument: wow what a cool place. The food here was so memorable in fact that I’m still thinking about it right now and I’ve been home for several months. I just realized I didn’t leave a review when I went through my Vermont photos. Look at these nearby views! Wow what an amazing egg sammich I had. Thanks chef! 5/5

In town briefly and found Sunny Side by accident for a breakfast place. Simple but good. Great friendly wait staff. And found they had strawberry rhubarb jam!

Wheelchair accessibility: I am sorry to say, but today I observed the hostess being very loud and rude to a disabled senior lady with a walker. The hostess refused to let her wait indoors, out of the way and screamed at her until she and her party left the diner. I will never go here again and will inform everyone I know about this situation.

Me ToYou

Sunny Side Diner is a classic American diner with a warm, welcoming vibe. I had breakfast there and ordered a 3-egg omelet with American cheese and broccoli, which came with a choice of bread and potatoes. I opted for sourdough bread and home fries, along with a cup of filter coffee.

The portions were generous, and everything tasted great. The service was efficient, if unremarkable. It’s clear this place is a local favorite—it was packed, with not a single table available. Another perk is the ample parking, which adds to the diner’s convenience.

Lovely little place for breakfast, definitely recommend. We stopped here on our way back home from a trip to Mount Snow. The wait time was a bit long but our waitress was lovely, service was quick, and the food was absolutely delicious. I got an egg white omelette with sourdough toast and home fries…10/10! We’ll be back for sure.

Very busy at 1030 in the morning but was seated right away. Didn't order food but others food looked very good. Could find a drink I wanted unless I drank coffee or soda.
