We’ve gotten take out from the The Avocado Pit dozens of times. The food is always good & the portions are reasonable. But tonight not so much. The burrito bowl was 1/2 the size it usually is & it was literally 2/3 rice. I can’t believe what I paid for a hunk of white rice, two pieces of chicken & a few veggies sprinkled in. I’m beyond disappointed & will never go back.
I'm very disappointed in the "new" Avocado Pit. It used to be a go to place for us. The portions were generous, and the food was great. Recently their meat is oversalted, the portions are tiny, and their topping options are lackluster. The lettuce is the bowls is undressed (even when sauce was requested) and the meat is so oversalted it's inedible. I'm sad that this restaurant has gone down this road.
The tacos were fresh and delicious and I look forward to trying out more items on the menu!
