Extremely disappointing Valentine’s Day experience. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was rude and dismissive, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than guests. We were told we couldn’t sit at a table due to reservations, yet there were empty tables the entire night.
After being seated, we were greeted and initially attended to by the bartender, who was kind and helpful. However, after placing our dinner order, we noticed other tables around us receiving their food while we continued waiting. When we asked about the status of our meal, we were told our order was fourth in line and was not even being prepared.
We waited an additional half hour and then tried speaking with the manager, but we were completely overlooked and ignored. After nearly two hours with no food, no explanation, and no reassurance ( they all disappeared at one point), we had no choice but to walk out.
The only saving grace was the bartender, who genuinely apologized for the poor service. Unfortunately, the lack of organization, communication, and basic customer respect made this a frustrating and unacceptable experience. I would not recommend this place.

First time at this awesome place was last night and really enjoyed it. Lots of vegetarian options, I went for a massive grilled cheese that was absolutely delicious. My friend for mac & cheese and he loved it too. Hear they have the best pizza in Brattleboro though so next time I'm in town I will try that.

Had reservations for 3 at 6:30. Showed up a little early. Our table wasn't available yet, which was fine. We sat at the bar, ordered some drinks. I had the mojito. Very good! We were offered a high top table and asked for the table in the front window instead. Staff accommodated us, no problem! High top might've been a warmer spot, ours was a little chilly with the door being so close. That's on us. Next time we know! Our server Hash took great care of us. We ordered the truffle fries as a starter. They were absolutely delicious! I ended up getting a pizza (steak, broccoli and white sauce) husband got the steak dinner, my sister in law got the steak tips. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and delicious! I read the reviews after making reservations. Some fo them had me questioning whether I wanted to cancel. Very glad that I did not! We will definitely be returning again

Great pizza in a decent space. The restaurant is liveley and has some good decor and artwork which creates a fun environment. The servers were efficient and friendl. We were seated, ordered and attended to in a reasonable time. The pizza we got was really good. Stop by for sure!

Dining out should be a treat and an experience for the customer. The restaurateur should be focused on creating that experience and on bringing joy to the customer. It seems however that some businesses cater to those who desire their experience to focus on self-mortification. In this business model, seemingly adopted by Echo Restaurant in Brattleboro, customers are ignored, and served undercooked meals lacking desired ingredients, on dirty plates and silverware. Evidently this business model appeals to many patrons as, were it not so, the ratings for this establishment would be unexplainable. Sadly, my wife and I would have loved a second drink, a properly cooked meal, with the right toppings, and perhaps the check in a reasonable amount of time, but our server clearly mistook us for the self-flagellating base that this establishment nurtures. Seemingly others were misinterpreted as well, given we heard complaints of various natures from every single surrounding table.
Stay away. Unless you deserve penance and choose this as that. Two stars, and only for the cool visual vibes. Makes the pain just a little sweeter.

I don't typically leave reviews unless my visit was memorable one way or another. My visit to Echo, was INCREDIBLE! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and very artsy and cool. Our server Brandon was on point the entire time. Never missing a beat to check on us (when our mouths weren't full of food - bonus! ), ensuring we had everything we needed and that our food was quality. Now the food, wasn't just quality.. It was the best damn thing I have ever had at any restaurant I've ever been to! I had the steak, which came with the most perfect crust on the outside, and perfectly cooked to my liking all the way through! Served with perfectly cooked green beans and quartered baby red potatoes, I ate every single morsal of my food! For dessert, I chose the chocolate filled churros with vanilla ice cream... Perfection! You would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't give this place a chance!!
Nice atmosphere, good cocktails and pizza. The service was friendly and quick, as we were eating her before a music event. Many options for vegetarians.
