Nice atmosphere. Great food, with great service. I would come back, if I’m ever in the area.
Had a great brunch here. Servers offered us a sweet surprise! Awesome food and vibe
Brought my large family here when they came to visit, group of 14 and they accommodated us without a reservation. We did have to come back in 45 minutes but that was fine while I gave them quick tour of other stores. Sat in the 2nd dining area right next to the kitchen and we were comfortable, the traffic by the table wasn’t too busy. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks and said they’d come back with me anytime they were in town.
One year ago I went to Echo with a party of 6. I had the Ribeye steak, rare. It was cooked to perfection. I bragged about it to everyone. On Friday June 6 '25 my son and I went and I ordered the same meal. Without a doubt this was the worse steak I have ever had at a restaurant. It was NOT a Ribeye. I had to 'saw' through the gristle on the end. This 1/2 inch piece of beef, whatever it was, was cooked well done. I ate about 3 or 4 bites and gave up. I brought the rest home for the 2 dogs we have at home. So very disappointed. Our waiter was good and the beer was cold.
Try pierogies, shrimp, and steak. Still good but won't take reservations for 6 people at 7pm.
I paid $30.00 for lunch salad with salmon, no refills on iced tea. What? I’ve never seen a $3.00 charge for a 2nd glass of iced tea in a restaurant. The service was friendly and good and food was decent, but the salmon had no flavor whatsoever. My partner had a breakfast burrito which I tried and it was really good. Ww will return and next time I’ll order water which will net 0 profit, when they could make $3.00 for two small glasses of tea. Silly people.
Great vibe. Cool back patio. Really good pizza. Staff is kind and accommodating. I just have to give the service 2/5 because our dinner tonight was SLOW. We had a 3 year old and a 1.5 year old, so any delay gets magnified, but there was a solid hour between ordering and receiving our entrees (3 pizzas, a sandwich, and mac and cheese). It seemed busy but not line out the door crazy. Without kids it would have been fine and given us more time to chat and drink. With kids we had to resort to Miss Rachel. Nobody wants that.
Echo is the one dependable and reasonably priced restaurant in downtown Brattleboro. There's outdoor seating on nice days, the staff is friendly, the food is good if not exceptional or adventurous, and the atmosphere is inviting.
We went to Echo for the first time tonight. The food was good, service was pretty slow. Our appetizer, my grandsons food, both came out after our meals were almost gone. We ordered Calamari, which is not good reheated....the waiter said he would take care of us but wound up charging me for it. Not a huge deal, he was really nice, but that was a little disappointing.
We enjoyed our dinner at Echo. Due to a bit of a family emergency, we ended up being in a little rush. The staff got us our food quickly and helped us get on our way... good food... great staff... but what's with the pigs?

The service was good, it's a cute, clean place. We window shopped the menu before going and they didn't have what my wife was going to order. Basic pub fair, which wasn't what we were realy looking for ahead of arriving. Food was well flavored she had the burger, I had the steak bomb. It was really a steak sandwich. If i have any kind of cheese steak I expect shaved steak of some sort . They had chopped up steak which was delicious but a fail on "sour dough" bread. I pulled most of the sandwich apart my first bite because of the big chunk of steak. Also they put ketchup packets in our fries. No one wants ketchup packets...especially if I was expecting to spend $100 on my meal. We would eat here again. Maybe just hope they give it a little more effort.

My husband and I came here with our 10 month old baby on the first evening of our family trip and I’m so glad we did. The place was quiet and the staff were super friendly. The food was also great! I got the steak and my husband had the risotto and they were both delicious! Highly recommend!?

I was pleasantly surprised. The food was much better than I was expecting. The spaghetti Marinara with garlic bread was really well made and the crème brulé superb. Definitely recommend this place.
