First time coming here, came for the karaoke and was excited to try the food. Off the bat, the owner or “ manager “ whomever he is, was visibly wasted and incredibly unprofessional. The poor bartender didn’t know what she was doing but she was trying her hardest. No menus provided what so ever, and when I ordered i requested 2 things to be left out.. the male manager ignored that and put them in my food anyways. poor selection of beer. it was dead at 9:30pm , us and another couple were the only ones there. and owner was incredibly rude when we were placing food orders. very snappy and short. again, it was our first time here and we are incredibly disappointed.

Great concert.
"It's disheartening and deceptive to witness the server attempting to charge extra for the same beer ordered the previous day. This not only reflects poorly on the server but also tarnishes the reputation of the Latches Hotel."

I never heard of a "pub" in a relatively busy area that closes at 11PM on Friday and Saturday. They close at 9PM other nights. What is the point?
Don't waste your time or money here. Went here for lunch and waited forever to get served despite there only being a few other tables occupied. This was no doubt because the sole worker was serving as the waiter and cook and bar tender. The food was awful - disappointing, dry sandwich that was supposed to come with homemade chips but were out of them (yes, a bar out of chips!) and a chefs salad that looked like it was meant for the compost dump. Fortunately, the draft beer was good.

I love that there's an eatery open in this venue and I appreciate the vibe they're trying for. I was a bit disappointed with the overall experience though. We walked in on a lark, looking for supper, and got seated immediately. It was karaoke night (and maybe open mic?) and the energy in the room was good, but the volume was way too loud for the space. I also found the menu to be a bit uninspired. I had the corned beef sammie, and the rye bread was possibly the best rye bread I've ever had, but overall the rest of the meal didn't wow me. The chips were good but, well, they're chips. And I had the pasta salad as a side, which was both tiny and ho-hum. I also tried the rusdt beef au jus, which was way overcooked. The potato salad was ok, but that's not a dish to write home about. And the portion was small.I 100% would be willing to chalk this up as a mismatch between what I was hoping it would be and what it really is, and I don't feel it does Bratt any good for me to down on a local establishment. I want to see this place succeed and, judging by the crowd that was piling up as we left, I think there's a following for the spot, which I'm happy to see.It wasn't exactly my cuppa, but if your niche is an open space with simple sammies and salads, and a spot for live music, swing in and find your happiness!

Great music and food that aren’t represented in downtown! You can’t get a French dip or a good dog anywhere else. They also have good hours and a stellar wine list.
Stopped here in a Sunday afternoon and the bartender, Ari, told us they had been open about a month and a half. We really liked the place and if we lived closer we'd love to take advantage if the underground/basement lounge where they're going to have live music and other events. Cool atmosphere, nice selection of beers on tap, and a nice, basic menu where if you can't find something to eat then you're the problem. We split the french dip, good roast beef, homemade chips were great, and we had a side of the pasta salad with fresh seasonal vegetables which was good. Definitely recommend it, absolutely worth a shot, open on Sunday's and that's the same day Brattleboro has free parking!! Two things to note - 1) the bar is beer and wine only right now, liquor is served underground but that doesn't have the same hours and 2) the pub is part of the attached hotel, and we didn't experience any if that (although we would like to) it's still open to the public and it's not guests only.
Food was absolutely spectacular. The soup perfect flavors. Service and staff incredibly nice, you can’t ask for anything better. Cannot wait to come back and enjoy another bite to at this wonderful
