We had a great time on the sunset cruise! The views were absolutely lovely. The staff was great but the DJ, Ryan, and our server, Maya, were especially wonderful and patient with our large bachelorette party. They made a great time even better.
Nice short trip, fit for families. The views are stunning and narration is excellent. Better than your average cruise
Food was good, service ok. We prepaid dinner with appetizers and a bottle of wine and when the bill came there were fees charged we did not know of. We had to ask for dessert to be served. Would not recommend or recommend or do this again.
We went up to Burlington from the Capital District area for my mom’s 75th birthday. We had a great time on the Spirit of Ethan Allen. The views were beautiful and the staff was kind, helpful, and prompt! My one complaint is that the only changing table was in the upstairs bathroom. As a mom of a 5 month old, it was very frustrating to have to go all the way from our table to the women’s bathroom to change my daughter and not be able to split that task with my husband. I almost missed dessert as a result!
We had a wonderful scenic cruise yesterday on the Spirit of Ethan Allen on Lake Champlain. It was fun and scenic! Ticketing, boarding and service were very smooth. I would especially like to comment on the exceptional handicap accessibility! You can roll onto the boat easily and safely. There is a handicapped accessible bathroom on the main floor and this level is air conditioned! There is a nice drop off circle available to drive up if needed. As a retired handicapped advocate I was very impressed! I encourage everyone to book a cruise on Lake Champlain this summer! 🤩
For anyone that is a visitor to the City of Burlington Vermont, looking for a great way to explore the city and surrounding area, this is the adventure for you.
This expedition was the final leg of a seven-day journey that I made throughout four New England states. The Spirit of the Ethan Allen covered Lake Champlain during an early afternoon adventure and it was not only great views, a view from the Lake and was super informative.
The staff on-board was absolutely awesome and was super friendly. The overall adventure gave great tidbits about the local scenery and geological landscape.
It would be great for families and couples to take in to enjoy the day. One suggestion would be to take a lightweight jacket because it was breezy on a ride in June.
Excellent customer service
Fun boat ride on Lake Champlain. Not too long to be boring. not too short feel rushed
Worst experience of my life!! Bar tender swapped our credit card with a different party charging us $600 not owed by us. We have contacted them multiple times by phone and email and they have not resolved the issue. They say we have to file a dispute and they will not credit the charges. We even tracked down the other card holder to alert them and they also contacted this business to have their account correctly charged yet nothing has been done. There are now over $1,000 in fraudulent charges on our DEBIT card due to this error. Stay away from this business!!
Nice time together.

A very interesting ride on a late September day.
Not the best weather that day, but a very interesting storyteller. Views were beautiful. The crew was five star. Highly recommend this ride if you find yourself in beautiful Burlington VT.
Beautiful sunset cruise with unfortunate service. Most likely an issue of being understaffed at the end of the season.
We had the narrated trip. Ordered the picnic basket that came with a charcuterie board and bread and 2 glasses of wine. Learned alot along the way and the service was impeccable!!
The worst dining experience I can remember ever having! I took some colleagues out for a “nice” sunset cruise and what we got was bowling alley in the Mist.
Unfortunately and obviously not to the fault of the cruise, it was raining and horribly windy during the evening we went, however they should have canceled the cruise. The waiter was stumbling all over, drinks were swaying, the doors on the upper deck were flapping no matter how many guests (yes guests not workers) tried to close them. It was freezing. The tables were DIRTY. All the food tasted frozen and I asked for roasted potatoes with my burger because the regular side is just a mix of Lays and Ruffle potatoes chips. Waiter said he’d ask and comes back to say “no, it’s impossible.” Ok? Weird!
Everyone was miserable!! They played radio jazz on the speakers. I know it was the radio and not curated specifically for the ship because the DJ was talking about catching dinner on the way home?
Worst of all, when I booked my reservations, the site prides itself on its accessibility. I made note saying there was a member of our party that used a wheelchair, I followed up to make sure, no problem. We get there and they say the accessible deck is closed and our disabled guest has to climb TWO FLIGHTS OF STEPS!!!! No apology, no offer to assist, nothing!!! This all cost about $250+!!!
I would not recommend this to anyone! An absolutely terrible time!
What a great adventure. The history lesson was enlightening. The food was delicious. The lake and fall foliage was amazing. Can't wait to go back and try another season.
