“I was assisting a friend by stopping by Hannaford's Supermarket to pick up a cake for her 3 year old son's birthday party. He had participated in picking out the cake for his special day. I arrived at the store and the cake was not ready as the cake decorator was out of the store unexpectedly today. Carol Fortin working in the bakery did her best to assist. We did receive a cake with his name on it but not the decorating he had selected. She also provided me with a gift card in recognition of the mistake. I also told Kelsi in customer service that I thanked Carol for doing the best she could to quickly remedy the situation however this was a disappointment for a 3 year old child. To our complete surprise Hannaford's delivered a cake to party event and decorated as he selected! Carol, Kelsi and all staff who made this happen we sincerely thank you! I am a Hannaford's loyal customer and that is going to stay that way. Hannaford Supermarket you have staff members who represent the best customer service possible.
