Nice staff. Solid menu at good prices. Expect parking challenges during rush times. Outdoor dining is a plus! A casual dining experience

Taste is great. Expensive for lack of quantity, the rice is never packed like Chinese restaurants elsewhere, same with low mein, chow mein, stir fry etc... similar to 6 months ago. Price has gone up since then, quantity and quality is the same. I'm aware cost of supply has gone up, quantity is still the same.

Update: I remembered this review so the second picture is from a Chinese restaurant in Connecticut. It was $12 (use to be maybe $10) but still filled to the brim. No excuses. Honest review.

Yea, the ingredients and supplies went up in CT too... a 20 lb bag of rice costs maybe $25 to $35 from an asian market, but cutting back on that quantity... you know what I'm saying.

Stir fry the way it should be done. Veggies in a unique blend, pleasant sauce--not too salty--tying crispy veg together with tender meat. No sign of canned corn or bitter bamboo here. Hot sauce is super for the brave...the Asian discovery of 2025!

Surprise Party

I wanted to throw a surprise birthday party for my husband and some friends.I called and spoke with the restaurant would it be possible to make arrangements to do so. The worker that I was talking to was very happy to work with me, and we went forward with the party. They were able to provide a intimate space for us, and whenmy husband arrived he was in complete shock!! The service was phenomenal and everything came out so fast!!! We even brought an ice cream cake that they were able to store for us! They also provided a candle, light it with plates and etc. Volcano sushi was delicious and you will definitely see me back again!!! Thank you guys for making my husband‘s birthday so special!

This is hands down the best sushi I’ve had in Burlington ✨ We dined in and everything we ordered was so fresh and flavorful. We ordered seaweed salad, edamame, and crab rangoon to start. All of these appetizers staples were great, no complaints, the meal was off to a fabulous start.

The true stars are the sushi rolls. We chose two specialty rolls and two of the standard maki rolls. Our favorite was the Maple Salmon Roll. This has crab, avocado, cucumber inside topped with salmon and their special maple sauce. I don’t know how many times I’ll say something was fresh in this review but when it comes to sushi, I know that’s what I want to hear. And the sauces were just the perfect salty/sweet combo. We also had the Snow Mountain, Sweet Potato Roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll. They were all good but I particularly enjoyed that the two rolls that had a tempura component (the shrimp in the Snow Mountain and the sweet potato) were both freshly fried, crispy, and slightly warm inside the roll - that contrast in texture is just ✨chef’s kiss✨

The service was also attentive and friendly. We enjoyed every bit of our sushi date. Thank you Volcano!

My boyfriend from overseas ordered here for me from UberEats, and the woman who owns it stayed 1 HOUR after closing to make sure I got my food. Usually, restaurants close and get rid of your order. How thoughtful!

Some of the worst Pad Thai I've had in Burlington:(

Fried rice had nothing fried about it. Besides a topping of perfectly sauteed onions, it was just shy of being mushy with some frozen peas and carrots and scallion. No egg?!! Chicken was all cooked differently. Some dry pieces and some not; some tender pieces and some hard pieces. Also had a cheap garlic flavor and seemed some kind of tenderizer or maybe cornstarch had been used that gave a weird texture. Bland, but that was fixed with soy sauce. A little oily, which would have been fine if they actually fried the fried rice. No chopsticks in the bag.

My wife wanted to try this place as usual. At first I was a little skeptical but I gave it a try. The orange chicken is amazing and very fresh. The house is the best soup I had ever had this isn’t an exaggeration either it’s amazing. The shumai is also great too. The crab Rangoon is also my family’s favorite which I don’t eat but they love it.

This is a review for takeout. Cannot comment on the dine in experience. Peanut noodles were incredibly overcooked and flavorless. The lo mein had slightly more flavor but was still very bland. My partner said the fried rice and egg rolls were good. Crab Rangoons and the sushi rolls were mid at best and for over $100 we have a ton of food leftover and the noodles will go right to the trash. Yuck.
