“Wonderful brewery, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Some of the best beers I've ever tasted, love their hoppy beers and even the ones that aren't. Even though they specialize in hoppy beers, their other offerings, such as Heavy and Barrel-aged Heavy are outstanding. And I confess I still crave their one-off Barrel-Aged Old Ale, a beer that lives on in my memory.”

“Simply the best sandwich place around. The bread is absolutely delicious and is what pushes their sandwiches to a 10/10 instead of just an 8 or 9. Everything else is cooked and made perfectly; excellent portions and reasonably priced. Service is fast and tireless, they work hard and it shows. I don’t often tip for pickup service, but I always will here, and at 20%+. Highly, highly recommend Paisley Hippo.”

“We recently hired Babas Tacos for our wedding and we could not possibly have been happier! Everything was delicious, they were very punctual, everyone's dietary restrictions were accommodated, and it was all very reasonably priced! These are hands down the BEST TACOS ive had since I moved here from the west coast!! Everyone loved them! “Great food, friendly service, very reasonable prices. That's what keeps me coming to Papa Nick's, usually once a week (more often in the summer). And I have to drive over the mountain from Fayston to do so. I love this place--Voula does a fantastic job. I just wish they could some day go back to having their Greek Nights on Thursdays. (They do have occasional Greek entrees but it's just not as predictable as it was before the pandemic. Then again, nothing is...) Highly recommended!”

“We've had pizza from Good Times on a few occasions and it's usually pretty good. The price however doesn't match the quality.

Specialty pizzas are significantly higher in price without a higher quality add on. I'd be happy to become a regular if prices rival others in the area.”

“We've been eating here for 15 years. Best overall Chinese takeout in the area (Chittenden County). Ignore the outlier bad reviews - everyone has off days and this is a family owned business that operates 6 days a week (I don't recall it ever being closed allowing them to take a vacation in the last 15 years...)

Just about everything is good on the menu - recommend folks explore it instead of ordering the same thing over and over again.”

“Had a great experience today. Ordered from the counter at about 5pm and was met with a very helpful, server who made us delicious foot longs. We hadn't been to Subway in a while, but will certainly go back. Both the Hotshot Italian Sub and Honey Mustard BBQ Sub were yummy and put together nicely. Also, everything looked very clean!”

“Pizza is great, but a lil pricey. Gluten free crust is better than average. Richmond location has started offer limited breakfast. Mostly hot beverages and pastries. But the pastries are mostly gluten free and vegan. Delightful to have more than one GF option, and vegan options, too. Nice interior. Good staff.”

“We came because it’s our son’s birthday and near our house. Didn’t really plan it out—just impromptu because it was supposed to snow and wanted to go ahead and get our son some birthday treats. Wow, what a great choice we made! Got a chocolate raspberry cake—which we’ll eat today—plum danish—and a strawberry shortcake with matcha icing (our 5y son picked lol) which was shaped like a Christmas tree and even had gold leaf and little pomegranates as ornaments. Best danish we’ve ever had plus they gave us an extra since it was near closing. Son loves the match dessert. We will be back!”

“I stopped there recently with my girlfriend and we both had western omelets that were fantastic. Mine was the best omelet I've had in quite a time. The eggs were fluffy and seasoned very well and all of the other ingredients were fresh and flavorful. We ordered directly from the cook who was very friendly and kind, in a cute little dining room that was playing the classics and was so quaint, homey, charming and friendly that we've already sworn we would go back. I cannot recommend highly enough. Please check it out, you won't be disappointed!”

“After a very long day of filming time for a special treat. The service, food, ambience and vibe was exactly what we were looking for and sure enough the Guild Tavern excelled in every area. Thank you to our server Charlotte who was amazing to the entire team here. Each dish carefully and well executed in presentation and taste. The energy level this team has is like watching a well-orchestrated master piece. Each team member knew the thoughts of the others, the smiles always on their faces soon as you walk in and while you are here to the delivery of drinks and food and closing out the evening. Always helping each other with no complaints nor competitive angles or agendas just pure team work. This is a place we would love to have in our upcoming documentary. “We came here for some beers and there is a pizza place upfront that you can bring your pizza to the back. It’s kind of a Detroit style pizza that was 3.5/3 but the beer was five out of five and the people working there were nice enough. Felt like a bit of a local place.”
