“Wonderful brewery, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Some of the best beers I've ever tasted, love their hoppy beers and even the ones that aren't. Even though they specialize in hoppy beers, their other offerings, such as Heavy and Barrel-aged Heavy are outstanding. And I confess I still crave their one-off Barrel-Aged Old Ale, a beer that lives on in my memory.”

“Simply the best sandwich place around. The bread is absolutely delicious and is what pushes their sandwiches to a 10/10 instead of just an 8 or 9. Everything else is cooked and made perfectly; excellent portions and reasonably priced. Service is fast and tireless, they work hard and it shows. I don’t often tip for pickup service, but I always will here, and at 20%+. Highly, highly recommend Paisley Hippo.”

“Met a friend here for lunch and a long chat. This was a great spot. It's a very simple looking place with deli style ordering at the counter and cleaning up after yourself, so you don't feel at all rushed. I had the buffalo chicken salad and the Old World Bread dippers and was not disappointed with either. My friend comes for the jambalaya. I will be back to try one of the Cajun dishes...then the pizza (which looked great at the table across from us).”

“Great food, friendly service, very reasonable prices. That's what keeps me coming to Papa Nick's, usually once a week (more often in the summer). And I have to drive over the mountain from Fayston to do so. I love this place--Voula does a fantastic job. I just wish they could some day go back to having their Greek Nights on Thursdays. (They do have occasional Greek entrees but it's just not as predictable as it was before the pandemic. Then again, nothing is...) Highly recommended!”

“We've been eating here for 15 years. Best overall Chinese takeout in the area (Chittenden County). Ignore the outlier bad reviews - everyone has off days and this is a family owned business that operates 6 days a week (I don't recall it ever being closed allowing them to take a vacation in the last 15 years...)

Just about everything is good on the menu - recommend folks explore it instead of ordering the same thing over and over again.”

“Had a great experience today. Ordered from the counter at about 5pm and was met with a very helpful, server who made us delicious foot longs. We hadn't been to Subway in a while, but will certainly go back. Both the Hotshot Italian Sub and Honey Mustard BBQ Sub were yummy and put together nicely. Also, everything looked very clean!”

“The Salmon bowl tasted great, though they missed the dressing on it which I had to ask for, and then I was quite surprised that the salmon was an added $15! That doubled the price of the bowl from $15 to $30 pre-tax—I could have sworn the menu said it was an extra $10. Had to run before I could ask about it. Enjoyed the food, but was disappointed by the cost. I trust that their beer is great!”

“After a very long day of filming time for a special treat. The service, food, ambience and vibe was exactly what we were looking for and sure enough the Guild Tavern excelled in every area. Thank you to our server Charlotte who was amazing to the entire team here. Each dish carefully and well executed in presentation and taste. The energy level this team has is like watching a well-orchestrated master piece. Each team member knew the thoughts of the others, the smiles always on their faces soon as you walk in and while you are here to the delivery of drinks and food and closing out the evening. Always helping each other with no complaints nor competitive angles or agendas just pure team work. This is a place we would love to have in our upcoming documentary. Highly recommend the Guild Tavern. Thank you for a wonderful evening.”

“I stopped there recently with my girlfriend and we both had western omelets that were fantastic. Mine was the best omelet I've had in quite a time. The eggs were fluffy and seasoned very well and all of the other ingredients were fresh and flavorful. We ordered directly from the cook who was very friendly and kind, in a cute little dining room that was playing the classics and was so quaint, homey, charming and friendly that we've already sworn we would go back. I cannot recommend highly enough. Please check it out, you won't be disappointed!”

“We were looking for a quick bite before a show at the Flynn center and stopped into Red Panda on a whim. I'm so glad we did- We sat at the bar and had a glass of wine and a beer, we split two appetizers and biryani, everything was delicious, and quick. Family owned, the nice young man who served us said his aunt and uncle were the owners. Highly recommend.”

Where these guys shine is the service. They're always friendly, accommodating, and fast. Extensive menu options, as well. Good if you need a quick sandwich and don't want anything fancy, or to spend an arm and a leg on a sub that's tiny and overpriced, this is a great option!”

I had to head to Burlington two days later for appointments and knew I had to stop back in with my kids this time and they also LOVED it. “Wow! We've been loyal Tiny Thai customers for years, but decided to try Suvi's because it's so much closer. The rice is fluffy, the vegetables are cooked perfectly. Very fresh tasting. Love the yellow curry dish, the stir fried chicken with cashews and pad thai are sooo good. And the spring rolls and crab ragoon are just lightly fried. Deelish. Husband wife team are super nice. New favorite place for take out.”

The late-night menu is advertised to begin at 10 PM, yet when we called at 9:30 PM on a busy Saturday night, we were told only pizzas were available. This is misleading and frustrating. The posted information is not accurate, and unfortunately, it doesn’t reflect the needs of a busy harbour location where late-night dining options are expected. It also shows on google you are currently closed. Please consider updating your hours and menu details to reflect actual service and better support your patrons.”
