Excellent guacamole and entrees; my pork tacos were simple but well-made, with nice thick, soft corn tortillas, ample topping vegetables, and juicy pork. The guacamole was top-notch.
The seasonal special squash mole enchiladas were excellent, spicy and with a variety of filling.
Our waitress was friendly and attentive.
The flan was forgettable, but that’s fine.

I can’t remember the last time I was that aghast looking at a restaurant bill. The company we were with had the same reaction. 10 people, only one appetizer and three adult beverages — $420. To be fair, the food was good, the service great and the setting nice as always. We’ve been coming to Candelero’s/GJ for yeeeeears, but I dunno, gotta think about it next time.

We came here Saturday night after driving from albany and, omg it is so good. I don't eat meat, so I have a difficult time at restaurants bc im such a picky eater. The chimichanga with just beans, cheese, and rice was so good. I literally ate every single bite. So sunday, after hiking all morning we were so hungry and decided to go to the same place and I got the same thing and it was just as good. The waitress/bartender was certainly not as friendly but whatever the delicious food made up for it. It is on the pricey side, but it is what it is.
Vegetarian options: I'm not sure there is specific vegetarian options. But you can order whatever with no meat
Did a motorcycle ride in parts of VT we haven't ventured to. It was a beautiful day and outdoor seating was available. Good selection of food and great service. Frozen margaritas hit the spot. Already planning on coming back for a future date night

We enjoyed our lunch on the patio, which offered a lovely setting for our gathering of friends. Sadly, the server was not well trained. We were not offered drink refills, nor desert. The dirty plates sat on the table long after we were finished and not even collected when the check was presented. Staring at dirty dishes for 30 minutes before we left, dulled an otherwise delightful gathering.

Really average pub food that was pretty bland, our server banged the plates down like she hated being there. You’re honestly better off waiting to eat at one of the busier spots elsewhere, would not recommend.
