My son and I had a perfect lunch here. The food, service and ambiance were excellent.
The food was amazing, we would highly recommended this restaurant.
The atmosphere was nice.. great for get together .. the food was ok. It tasted like franchise food.. not authentic at all. Not impressed with the food.. service was good.
The owner was so rude and dismissive of me . Didn’t allow my to order to take out meanwhile girl next to me was free to order for take out . The guy at tte bar all of a sudden n started barking no one could fire him cause he was the manager . I’ve never gone back , with all my friend , never home back with all my family . I guess it doesn’t matter to them - gross
To be told this never happened is a joke . I didn’t make this up
, I’ve never been back to this restaurant . For the owner to call me a liar just shows what type of place this is !! lol !!! I grew up in this area . Not smart to treat locals badly ,
Food is way overpriced and not great. Service was solid.
Food was a bit pricey but very tasty!
Highly recommended if you're in the are and looking for a great TexMex spot
Amazing atmosphere, wonderful staff, and a Quinoa Avocado salad that I will still be thinking about years from now!
Dietary restrictions: I was happy to see plenty of gluten free option I could feel safe eating!

Excellent guacamole and entrees; my pork tacos were simple but well-made, with nice thick, soft corn tortillas, ample topping vegetables, and juicy pork. The guacamole was top-notch.
The seasonal special squash mole enchiladas were excellent, spicy and with a variety of filling.
Our waitress was friendly and attentive.
The flan was forgettable, but that’s fine.

I can’t remember the last time I was that aghast looking at a restaurant bill. The company we were with had the same reaction. 10 people, only one appetizer and three adult beverages — $420. To be fair, the food was good, the service great and the setting nice as always. We’ve been coming to Candelero’s/GJ for yeeeeears, but I dunno, gotta think about it next time.

Service was great. Food average but prices insane!! For the price tagged to the items, quality & flavors don’t match up at all. Seriously should think about this mismatch.

The "salsa" recipe could be changed up a bit to taste more like salsa and less like chunky tomato sauce. We sat outside on a great day, so the atmosphere was lovely. Sincerely, Visitors from

We came here Saturday night after driving from albany and, omg it is so good. I don't eat meat, so I have a difficult time at restaurants bc im such a picky eater. The chimichanga with just beans, cheese, and rice was so good. I literally ate every single bite. So sunday, after hiking all morning we were so hungry and decided to go to the same place and I got the same thing and it was just as good. The waitress/bartender was certainly not as friendly but whatever the delicious food made up for it. It is on the pricey side, but it is what it is.
Vegetarian options: I'm not sure there is specific vegetarian options. But you can order whatever with no meat
