Started with the escargot it wasn't that great. I had the pork schnitzel and was very good my wife had duck and it was very good and a plentiful portion had a nice flambe dessert too
We had a spectacular dinner at Ye Olde Tavern, and honestly, it’s more than just a meal, it’s an experience. Every entree comes with incredible starters: warm bread, fritters with maple butter, and a fresh salad to set the tone. I had the venison, which was unbelievably tender for such a gamey cut, while my girlfriend went with the NY strip; perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The cranberry fritter alone made it clear I was going to absolutely hurt myself with food. Lobster Mac & cheese. Pot roast. Flourless chocolate brownie. Absolutely gorged myself on comfort food in a cozy historical setting with a spectacularly attentive & friendly server. Just don’t eat for 12 hours before you go! So delicious!
