“For a first place that I stopped in when crossing Vermont, the look of the place peaked my curiosity and I am glad I stopped in. The young lady whose name I cannot remember unfortunately was very gracious host as I was exploring what good liquor Vermont had to offer. I am so glad I got some authentic maple syrup along with good exclusive bourbon. I can only imagine how nice it is in the summertime. It was a very welcoming environment where other customers were easy to mingle with when they discovered I was from out of town. From the free sample shots I took, I was more than eager to take some souvenirs home with me.“

“If you are, as I am, partial to flavorful thin crust pizza that does not have an excessive amount of cheese, this is the place for you. There are, as usual, plenty of options, but I tried plain, plain with mushrooms and pizza fungus and they were delicious. Not super dougy and generously sized. A moderate number of beers on tap. There are other items on the menu, but I haven't tried them. I expect that they too are well prepared. Lots of parking, plenty of room inside and outdoor seating with a spectacular view overlooking miles of rolling hills.

One caution - be careful of the turn in when approaching from the east. It comes up quickly and is very sharp.“

“What an amazing experience! My family and I visited the gallery and learned about the powerful, humorous and moving art directly from Cai and Adam. While we were there, we also took advantage of the opportunity to order a delicious lunch of dumplings, spring rolls, buns and scallion pancakes. A terrific way to spend an afternoon in Brattleboro.
